My baby boy (not such a baby at 20 months old) is a very big child he's already wearing 3T clothes. Doctor says he's just perfect but it really is hard to get bouncers for an 8 month old that weighs about 26lb.s. He actually broke two bouncers at the legs, they just snapped in half. Well we then went out and got the Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker & Bouncer, Barnyard Friends chair because he needed a place to lounge on when he drank his bottles and sometimes when he had his cookie. This chair was a life savier. We're getting another one for our daughter who will be born in Feb08. We figured if she's going to have a swing she doesn't need a traditional bouncer as a swing and bouncer generaly do the same, so we're going with this chair that will grow with her and also vibrates.
I'm very happy with this product. it is used at least three to four times a week, when friends bring their babies over. they seems to like the virbration and they like the toy animals. You do need a screw driver to put it together, but it is easy.
My sister first got this rocker at her baby shower, so I cant say it was great for the price since I didnt buy. She put her son in it when he was a week old and she instantly noticed the results. Within seconds he went from screaming to rocking and dreamy looking. The fact that it vibrates is probably the best liked feature of all!!!! He always calms down. Whenever she comes up I always make her bring this because he loves to sleep and rock in it. Alot of times when he wont go to sleep in the crib we put him in this rocker and within a minute or two he is almost all the way asleep. I reccomend this product to anybody who has a newborn baby, and so does my sister. She swears by it!!!!
I have big babies (10lbs. 2oz & 9lbs. 12oz.) so I needed something that could keep up with there steady weight gain. This seat has been great! It holds up to my 35lb 2 year old and my 18 1/2lbs 14wk old. The youngest loves to sit in this seat (even though it does'nt bounce) and play with the toys. When we first brought him home he would'nt sleep in his crib or bassinet so I used this and he loved it! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to have something long term as both my boys will be using this for some time!
I just bought this for my granddaughter and I really like it.The baby is 1 month old and so far so good.I like the idea that it can be used when she is older as a chair so we get our money worth .
I got this chair as a hand me down from my cousin who has 3 boys who used it since 1998. Now my 5 month old has used it since birth and loves it. The only negative is that the vibrator has quit, but he doesn't seem to miss it. Not bad for 9 years and 4 kids.
My 5 1/2 week old son really seems to like this little rocker! I bought it because it can turn into a toddler rocker as well and holds up to 40 lbs. so we'll be able to use it for quite awhile. Very good value for the price! I'd recommend it :)
Hi , I really liked Infant Toddler Rocker & Bouncer.It is very useful and a great item for that price . I love its colors . However the delivery of the product took little longer than i had anticipated . Thankfully it arrived just before i had to gift it to some one . It would be wonderful if we could improve delivery time . Thanks, Anju
This is a good chair/rocker. I wish it did have music, but that's okay. It's really nice to take outside in the shade on nice days, and to put her in there when I need to have a second alone and she dosen't want to be in her swing. Her Grandma uses it to give Brooke her bottles full of expressed B. Milk.
i bought this for my 2 month old and he loves it! The little cow doesnt play the music for very long and my son gets upset because he isnt old enough to make it play music. He loves to sleep in it because it vibrates. I also have a 3 yr old son, he weights 38 lbs and when he first sat in the chair it was very wobbly, it moved side to side. I had to tighten it alot after he sat in it one time. It is supposed to be a toddler chair too.
