I bought this fridge April 10, 2017 and love it. My old one was a tad larger at 21 cu ft but this one at 20.5 cu ft actually seems larger inside. The moveable bins on the inside the fridge door are interesting and take some getting used to but are nice. They are also easy to empty out and clean. The only down side is that the height of the top shelf seems low. I have to bend over about halfway to see that is on it but I will get used to that. Otherwise I love my new fridge. Just want I wanted. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this to replace an old 18.5 cu. refrigerator. The price was amazing and my electric bill has gone down as well. This refrigerator will pay for itself in three years. It has a lot of room and the freezer is especially spacious which saves me more money when I buy in bulk. This is the biggest refrigerator that I can fit in my kitchen and I shopped around for months before deciding on this one.
I purchased this fridge April 10, 2017 and I LOVE it. At the recommended cold setting in the freezer & fridge it keeps everything super cold which suits me fine. It runs very quietly as well. I say it is an excellent value for the money. I have always been a Whirlpool fan and once again was Not disappointed. The outside dimensions are 2" deeper front to back and 2" wider side to side & about 1/2" shorter than my old fridge. It is 0.5 cu ft smaller but the inside is larger than my old fridge. The only thing I am not crazy about is that the top shelf seems to be much lower than the one in my old fridge. I seem to have to lean over further to see what is on that shelf. However I will adjust and otherwise I could not be happier with my new appliance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice fridge, plenty of room. Nice drawer under top shelf in fridge. Nice light, but they forgot to put one in freezer. But overall, satisfied and a good price too. Whirlpool is American made. Only way to go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went for the vintage look, it fits it completely! Stunning visual to enter into the room! The vegetable drawers are a bit flimsy and could be a concern if we weren't just using this appliance part time, I hope they last. The leveling has been a bit of a challenge, the door tends to swing open and after adjusting, tends to not close...need to keep messing with it to get the right combination. But...all said, it is one beautiful appliance and addition to our kitchen. After freezer on the bottom for so many years, a little adjustment to have on the top.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the new frig with having the same size foot print of my old one but gives me 3.5 more cubic ft. of storage. My only issue is the ice maker does not perform as well as my old one. I am using ice trays to keep a second tray filled with ice. It troubles me that I may have a defective ice maker that I may purchase another one, change out to see if performance increases? Does Whirlpool have a hybrid Ice Maker Available? The ice maker takes four days to fill tray that has me concerned? Does anyone have any advice or same comment on ice maker?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase my new Whirlpool refrigerator a month ago and I am super happy with its quality and features. It is an identical replacement for previous one I purchased over 16 years ago and fits my kitchen place perfectly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a month ago. It's a good size standard refrigerator. The finish is shinny on the front, and mat on the sides, which I like. Some drawbacks are, it makes some unusual noises, and the pull drawers are flimsy. We don't abuse the drawers, and so, I hope they hold up. I did line the shelves with paper, to put my stamp on it. Overall, I'm happy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about 2 months ago and didn't have much time to look. I am restricted to a space and this one fit. I never really cared for the very bottom of the fridge. It looks unfinished to me. I knew this buying it though. The crisper drawers have a humidity control but there is a huge gap so I can't even imagine it does anything and I actually thought I had them in wrong because they look like they are not closed all the way. Both drawers are like that. This fridge has such a loud buzzing noise that I am still trying to get used to. My old one was so quiet. The door space is pretty good. Most of the space has the tub style shelves so nothing will fall out. There is a shelf at the very bottom of the door that has the rail, I use that just for water. There is a small deli drawer and you can slide to either side depending on what space you need. That is a nice feature. The freezer is ok. It has the rail style storage on the door, so stuff falls out if is not sized correctly. No light which I knew. My old one that was not fancy had a light. Other than that, it keeps the food cold.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several whirlpool & kitchen aid products- and truly haven't had issues over multiple properties & years. So I really feel this is an outlier. This unit and the other unit I recvd as replacement ( only 5 serial numbers apart). Immediately had compressor issues. The ceiling of the refrigerator developed heavy condensation that proceeded to dip down shelves and form ice icicles- regardless of setting. Again both the first unit and the replacement had the exact same issue- being a had size restrictions I had to go with the freezer on the top model Needless to say 3rd time I switched to a different brand
