The PreSonus Eris E44 is an active MTM series nearfield monitor designed to provide an expanded, highly accurate frequency response and a wide stereo field. The monitor features nested MTM dual Kevlar drivers to ensure smooth off-axis response with spatial resolution and more dynamic output than conventional two-way designs. The 1.25", silk dome HF driver is positioned between two 4.5" midrange drivers to deliver detailed stereo imaging and 90W Class A/B bi-amplification produces an open, clear sound, for a less fatiguing listening experience. Dual drivers remain less than one wavelength apart for any of the frequencies they reproduce to act like a single, larger driver providing a highly dynamic output in a compact format. The MTM design also reduces component interference and sonic inconsistencies resulting in a much wider sweet spot. Acoustic tuning controls, include a three-position Acoustic Space switch, High and Mid controls, and a Low Cutoff filter. Additionally, the monitor offers balanced XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS, and unbalanced RCA line-level inputs.
