I like the portability of this product. For a short individual, however, it is a little long. If I could remove 1 section it would be the perfect length.
The wading stick itself is just fine. the carring pouch started to tear at the seams after three times out fishing. I pop rivited the pouch, it seemed to work. I've lost or misplaced my stick so I'm going to send to Walmart for another. I think the price and the stick makes this a good buy.
The elastic holding the sections togethere is too weak so the pole can come apart when snagged in the river bottom. It goes back together automatically, but not ideal. The handle needed to be glued in place. As delivered it slipped down the pole a the least pressure.
The walking staff did not last 2 days. The elastic cord broke before I had a chance to use the staff. The edges of the tube sections were so sharp they cut right through the cord. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
