Bought this blindly as I’ve never smelled the original from JM before, but I was very pleasantly surprised with this scent. I tend to gravitate towards musky, earthy, spicy type scents and this was right up my alley. Opening is a little powdery/floral for my taste however once it dries down it’s got a fabulous smell, can really pick out the cardamom. It does fade after about 2 hours, but that’s a plus for me as strong perfumes tend to give me a headache. Can always still smell it on my coat when I get ready to leave the house the next day. Love it! Will be keeping in rotation as my winter scent.
Nothing to dislike Smell is incredible, so warm and alluring very warm tones and not heavy of a fragrance
My favorite perfume!!! I recommend that any perfume you buy let it sit for at least a week before you use it the scent gets better. This one is beautiful I sort of smells like a fresh out of the shower scent because of the heliotrope. I love it!!! (I'm on my second bottle)
But boy was i surprised!!! I'm a big fan of the Joe Malone version but currently have about three other very expensive perfumes in rotation. Thought I'd give this a shot…. It's spot on. The only difference is that it does not last as long. At this price point I'm happy to refresh it as needed!
My new favorite scent! Wish it lasted a tad longer, but for the price and quality, I can't complain.
Beautiful scent! Mimosa flowers are one of my favorites, and the layers in this one are exceptional. It starts as a neutral to sweet floral, with the midnotes carrying the spice, and dries down to a lovely woodsy, almost powdery finish. Really great, will be buying more!
I love Spicy Mimosa! It smells spicy, and has a warmness to it! I liked it so much I order before I run out, I want to have it at all times!
very sweet smelling! tbh I ordered this and then went to Sephora and smelled the actual Jo Malone- THEY SMELL IDENTICAL. dossier is actually such a good match, so if you like the original you’ll love this. But if you haven’t tried the original, it’s very sweet. I didn’t get a lot of the mimosa scent but it still smells really nice!!
I found the shopping experience to be easy and the delivery quick. The spicy mimosa is almost identical to Jo Malone’s mimosa & cardamom. I own the Jo Malone fragrance and wear it often so to find a more affordable option is great. I will say that this one has a better longevity than the original so that is a bonus.
i only recently got into perfumes so i may not know as much as everyone else BUT i did like this perfume. after having originally smelled mimosa & cardamom by jo malone, i do agree with others in that the dossier version is more sweet. it comes across very white floral heavy, giving a powdery scent more prominent than the spicier notes. i do prefer to use it on special occasions because it lingers for a while—and most days, i'm not feeling like smelling like one perfume for the whole day. considering the original's price, i am very satisfied with this purchase and recommend it to those who are looking for something similar to the original!
