My cutters were several years old. The replacement made a 100% improvement I should have replaced them months ago. I will try to replace them once a year from now on Well worth the price.
I searched on the Remington's page for R5-130. The page opened all right. I clicked to order the head and cutters. The order form opened and I completed the order for the above, I received the (R-460, R-650, R-450DT) head and cutters. There was no reference to R5-130, but I mistakenly thought it would work since many parts that I have purchased for other appliances worked without matching #s. I opened the pkg. I returned the part. Order #REW854687-516. Please help.RFP
I gave it to my husband 2 years ago, he was complaining in the beginning because he didn't knew how to use it properly. now he loves it, we couldn't find it in stores for about 3 months, so we finally found it and he loves it, he was so excited!!!!!!!!!
Doing a much better job with the new blades. I couldn't believe how dull the old blades had ecome.
While these are described as being for the R-450, the item as it arrives WILL NOT fit directly in this shaver. The plastic cutter assemby does not fit in the unit. It is necesary to remove the cutters and heads to install them in the old plastic holder. I assume the sp-25 is a direct replacement, but I paid extra for the "Titanium" unit thinking it would be of better quality.
..when it stops shaving you close, starts dragging on your skin, or starts yanking your face hairs out instead of crisply cutting them. Just get some fresh, sharp blades and covers. This kit fits a lot of different Remington rotary shavers and you're back to those close easy shaves you had when the razor was new. This is not a complete new top for the shaver, it's new blades and covers. So follow the instructions included and remove the *inside* assembly and drop in the new blades and covers. It's very quick to do if you read the instructions.
I had this shaver for two years and wanted to buy cutter first of all we got the wrong one as the site you have is not working good when i put model no. \i was giving what \i though was the right one but was not one. \i had to send this back and get new one I paid for this I could have bought new one for this price in X mas sale. \why not give value for money for this blades.
these were replacement blades for my R-460d. although there are twice as many cutting blades the shave is irritating to my face. would not keep if i hadn't thrown away the old blades.
I am disappointed in this product. Both the closeness and comfort are very much lacking and does not compare to the original razor performance when purchased 2 years ago.
This my fit a R 650s, but not the R 650. My razor had a label to replace with SP-27. Walmart does not carry this so I thought the SP-29 would work. The blades mount in the holder even with the frame which allows very little blade contact. Now I have to return product.
