So today 11/28/2020 I received my shipment from fedex and let me tell you I love love love this heated smoothing brush. I have 4c hair and soon as I let it heat up then started in on my hair it was so straight, my fingers went straight through without any problems.
I've tried a few other straightening brushes before this one and I gave them all away because they just didn't work. My hair is long and thick and naturally wavy and with every other straightening brush, I have to go over my hair numerous times. With this one, I went over it once and it made a huge difference. I went over it again in case I missed any spots. It wasn't even on the highest setting. It has 3 heat settings and goes up to 450 degrees. It also has auto shutoff which is convenient. The cord is a good length. This brush is amazing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
It is so much easier to use than a flat iron. As with a flat iron, you have to remember it gets very hot. It may look somewhat like a regular brush, but it is not one. I really love it! It makes my day better, because I am happy that it saves me time so I use it more and I can look good everyday.
I tried this last week. I have thick wavy hair and my hair takes a while to straighten so I was exited to a brush and flat iron in one. My hair looks shiny and straight with my looking looking very healthy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
One of the best straighteners i've ever owned!
It's very easy to use. I haven't straightened my hair for about a month, recently got real hair extensions and it worked great. My flat iron definitely wouldn't have made it look this healthy/straight. I originally was looking at the LANGE hair brush straightener ($67) and found this for $25. Worth it!! Ps. I gave it 4/5 stars because I just wish the bristles were a bit longer because I have so much hair.
Straightens pretty well but doesn't make my hair shiny.
I straighten my hair at least every other day or sometimes more. I usually use a flat iron but was real excited to try out the Remington Pro Hair Straightening Brush with Red Silk Technology. I had higher hopes than what my results produced. The heat is very similar to my usual flat iron but it heats up so much slower. I want something that quickly heats up. It is pretty heavy compared to what I am used to using. It took me forever to get my hair straight, even using the highest setting. With my usual product it takes me about 5 minutes to straighten my hair but using this brush took me at least double that. I had to keep going over and over the same patch of hair to get it straight, so I don't think it has as much coverage as a flat iron does. I put up before/after photos and as you can see yes it did straighten but there are tons of fly aways and still don't think it's as flat as when I use my usual product. The idea is fantastic but it just didn't work on my hair. Sad because I had higher hopes than the results I got. Pros- Looks nice and semi straightens hair Cons- Heavy, takes too long to heat up, takes too long to straighten, doesn't straighten as good as a flat iron. It works- but is not great to use. The handle gets hot if above 1 and makes it difficult to hold. The button is is tight where your hand fits and is VERY sensitive. So you either barely hold it or continuously the turn it to different settings. It pulls hair easily and is NOT recommended for any curly hair above 3a cool type.
This was all wrong for straight brushing the hair. Don't recommend the hot bristles we're too short to actually do the hair.
