First impressions were that this is a good looking quality product. Wasn't surprised at that since I have one of their cordless vacuums. It did an excellent job cleaning my carpet. I have a couple of minor complaints but keep in mind I did give it 5 stars. First of all the instructions are great with nice pictures and very informative right up until it is time to actually use it. So surprised there are no instructions, tips or tricks for actually cleaning the carpet. Seems like someone forgot that part. Also, could not get started at first as the dirty water tank sensor was stuck on. Finally figured out the float (which I didn't know that is what it was, had the instructions mentioned that, I would have figured it out much sooner) was stuck at the top of where it is supposed to slide. Probably happened in shipping but should be mentioned somewhere in the instructions or trouble shooting guide. At least if you read this, you won't have to go through the angst I did.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first assembled this, which was super easy, I was a tad bit worried about how effective it will be as I thought because the machine is made from a lightweight plastic I was concerned. However it works great. And being lightweight is a plus!! This machine can clean carpets and upholstery- couches, sofas, recliners etc. The accessory hose is a whopping 8 feet long making it perfect to reach all areas of the stairs or the car seats- cleaning up all the spills from the kids in the back seats. The two separate tanks are great- one tank is for the clean water and the other tank is for the dirty water. Both tanks have handles so that makes it easy to empty, rinse and refill. There are different modes you can choose for your specific need at that time - max mode for a pre professional cleaning, accessory mode and dry mode. On dry mode no water squirts out but it sucks up A LOT of the water used to clean therefor speeding up the dry time. When the dirty water tank reaches the "full" mark the machine will shut down - safety feature! The heated wash and bristles on the brush really get deep down into the carpet fibers to remove stains. You will be surprised. You really will see how dirty the carpet WAS when you empty the dirty water tank! But after cleanjng with the Tineco iCarpet you will know it really is clean !!
It works so well - much better than my last Hoover cleaner. We're very impressed and use it frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe how dirty my rugs and carpet were! Using this is a total game changer and I've added it to my cleaning routine. Assembling from the box is a breeze, instructions for using was very simple to follow, and taking apart for cleaning afterwards was easy! I've cleaned three bedrooms, three area rugs, and three mats. I've also cleaned our kitchen stools with the attachment, very simple and amazing results! Everything smells clean and the carpet is revived and fluffy again. Drying time is amazing. After I'm finished you can feel it has a little moisture but the next day it's completely dry. I one thousand percent recommend this, I really do love having this and I know you will too.
Best part of this machine is the heat function. Which helps speed the drying process. I own 3 tineco products. I love their products. Chic and modern.
Pro: Easy to maneuver and I love the dry cycle on it. Con: Runs out of cleaning solution fast and the dry won't work unless the solution tank is full.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this carpet cleaner a couple of weeks ago. Last weekend I tried to use it and could not get it to operate. The power button lit up, so I know it was getting power. I was getting an error message that the dirty water was full - it was empty since I hadn't used it - or could have been clogged - again it hadn't been used. I worked on it for about 30 minutes trying to get it to work. My husband worked on it for over an hour. We had the instruction pamphlet that came with it but to no avail, we could not get it to work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trying for a month now, but I can't figure out why the dirty water tank keeps reading as full when it's empty. I've tried to register the Tineco iCarpet Compete on the product site, but I couldn't find the model I have. I don't know why it won't recalibrate back like the other sensors, but I guess I just happen to get that one percent of new stuff that's defective right out of the factory.
Well I've tried everything they to me to do but mine don't work, no noise or nothing, the lights come on %26 say the dirty water reservoir is full , but it's never been used, smh
