I have literally been seeking somewhere to put my child on a daily basis all throughout the day because he wants to sit upright at the same time as playing with his toys, this is the most perfect seat for my baby that also has a tree for his toys and snacks! He absolutely loves it! The tray Is detachable, and the sun canopy is a lifesaver in Arizona! It's super lightweight and so convenient I cannot believe the blessing this is brought in my life LOL! I don't have to hold him and play with him nonstop for 24 hours a day now! This is the best invention ever! A versatile sit-up-seat that you can use both indoors and out as the canopy and feeding tray can both be removed. This is the next hands-free portable device after baby shows signs of being able to sit up (with support) and is starting to get too squiggly for the Boppy Newborn Lounger.
My 3 month old loves this! She started using it around 10 weeks (for short periods of time and supervision) and I've found it has really helped her with neck strength/sitting. I like that we can bring it outside and she has somewhere safe from the sun to sit. It will come in handy for all of our summer adventures as it folds easily for transportation.

its a really good chair and i love that it has an umbrella and a tray. i only gave it 4 instead of 5 because my baby only wants to be in it for a short amount of time. probably because he would rather go explore.
The Fisher Price On-The-Go Sit-Me-Up Floor Seat is a must have chair for traveling and hanging out outdoors with your little one! The seat folds flat so it takes up very little space when traveling. The chair itself has a sturdy and wide base as well as a pretty soft fabric to help your child sit upright comfortably. The tray is the perfect size to hold some cereal puffs or even a small toy or two. The absolute best part about this chair is the sunshade!!! The tray is top rack dishwasher safe and you can even remove the seat fabric and throw it in the wash too! I received this product and it has been a saving grace. My little lady does NOT like to be put down. I have tried other infant seats, but to no avail. Enter the Fisher Price sit-me-up floor seat (which took me only a few minutes to out together). She has a great time in it! I like that it has loops, but no toys because she has plenty that attach, and sometimes she prefers to just play with them. She is small for her age (6m), so cannot reach the tray yet. The sunshade is great for playing outside. I like the colors of the product because they are on the more neutral side. (I don't buy pink products, mostly because they tend to be very bright and overstimulating) The overall unit is a little bulky in my opinion, but I don't know how it could be made smaller. It is recommended that you place the baby in from behind the chair. I have found that when I do that, she slides in the seat nicely, but if I try from the side of front, her little feet get caught on the bottom brace. So definitely follow the directions! Assembly was very simple. No tools required, which is awesome. However, the red buttons (to unfold the seat) were a little difficult to push, but it only took me a few times before I was able to push them in so the frustration level was still low. The canopy is color coded so you know exactly which side goes where. The canopy seems a little uneven from one side to the other, but that's not a huge deal to me. There are two loops to attach toys to. I wish there was a third loop in the middle for versatility. The detachable tray is great. It is wide enough for a standard high chair toy to stick on, which is great for when I want to use the chair mainly for playing (my baby is only 4 months and isn't eating solids yet). The tray also doesn't hinder the loops so you can keep toys attached with the tray on. My 4 month old smiled when in the seat. He looked comfortable and was able to reach the toys that were attached to the loops. He couldn't reach the tray area though. I wish the seat sat him up right a little more, but he is a bit reclined in it. He started fussing in it after 10 mins. I'm not sure if he was uncomfortable or just wanted a change. When the weather was nice, I placed the chair outside on the patio. My baby cried for the first five minutes in it. I'm not sure if it was due to the chair or not. I was able to give him his bottle while he was in the seat. That was nice so he could look around while eating. He also has reflux so it's nice to have another chair to keep him upright after eating. I do wish the back part of the seat was padded though. Because of his size (and he's 16 lbs. already) his head rests on the back of the seat a little and I wish it was more comfortable for him. The canopy worked well to keep the sun off his head and out of his face. It was a partly cloudy day though. I do wish the canopy was a bit bigger to make it easier to find the right angle to get the most coverage on overly sunny days. It seems like it would be something I could take to the beach. I just wouldn't solely rely on the canopy for sun protection. Since I haven't had it outside for a long period of time, I also don't know if the fabric will get hot. It's navy blue in color where baby's legs and feet rest, so it has the potential to get hot. It's also nice that the chair folds down, but it's easy to carry as is also. Overall it's a nice chair to have. It's not my favorite chair, however. My baby seems more comfortable in a booster type seat with activity tray. He sits more upright in it. But the fisher price sit me up floor seat is a great chair to have to give your baby variety. I think my baby will get more use out of it when he is a bit bigger and eating solids. However, it's too early to tell how his legs will fit in the seat when he's bigger. I'm glad I have this seat for him but it's also not something I would keep him in for long periods of time. It is an excellent little chair. Bit tricky to get baby back out ( chair is nice and light, so sometimes the chair just lifts up rather then baby coming out). Easy to assemble and wash. Compacts down fairly flat for travel. Very decent chair.
