This record player is light weight and portable. My concerns were the speakers and whether I would hear the albums clearly and loudly and I did. There isn't anything to assemble and you just plug it in . It would have been great to have a needle that lifted and replaced itself like my dad's old vitrola, but I knew this when I purchased it. No need to add any other speakers but it's good to have the availability to do so. The radio is clear and I can get all the stations I currently listen to in my car. It would have been great to have a CD player included but it didn't and I knew this as well. However, for the money I paid for this record player and the quality it provides, I am absolutely thrilled.
This is exactly what I was looking for: a simple record player. The sound is good for a one bedroom. I found no problem with the product so far. Everything on here is almost all plastic but I guess that's why it's cheaper. Overall, it's a good product for the value.
All i wanted was a compact record player for my old records with decent sound, this is perfect! Works great, easy to use, nice looking and small. The speakers are louder than what I thought they'd be so i didn't need to connect any other speakers to the machine. The am/fm is good too! Amazing value for the cheap cost.
Very much surprised at the excellent sound that burst out of this little turntable the minute I put the needle down. Even with records that have been passed down to me from a relative that are a bit warped (after having them over time) they play just fine. I also have newly picked up vinyls that have come out recently. Thought I would have to add Optional Speakers, they really are not needed! Also thought this would be a "starter" player and would purchase a nicer, more expensive one later after I decided how much I was going to use/need something for my vinyls. This one is great! Did not expect such a wonderful product for the low price....it's really a bonus, I feel!
I purchased this for my grandma. She has a lot of records she bought at a yard sale but nothing to play them on. I do my research on everything I buy and after looking around this seemed perfect for her. I'm waiting til Christmas to give it to her but I already tested it out just to make sure it works when she unwraps it. It sounds so good! Easy to use! Can't wait til she opens it!
I was looking for a reasonable priced turntable since I don't have one any more. Tried this and was very pleased, does and plays everything I own plus a radio. Small enough to take room to room with me as i live in an apt.Would highly recommend to anyone.
I bought this turntable for my mom and she really liked it. It has very good sound, and it can play 3 different types of vinyl discs. It also has radio and the sound is of excellent quality. I would definitely recommend this product.
Great little turntable for the price. It comes with two little speakers built in but has speaker terminals on back if you want to add better ones, I run my turntable through my surround sound via the external volume port or headphone jack.
This stereo costs very little. It's not only a phonograph, but AM/FM radio as well with great sound. If you have records hanging around and would like to hear them again, this is a great buy.
I inherited over 200 records from my aunt. I just needed something to play them on. I live in a small apartment so the sound is great because it isn't too loud. All you had to do was unpack it and plug it in. Very easy. The only drawback is the needle arm is very fragile and requires a gentle touch to move or it will break. Also, the needle arm does not automatically reset when the record is done playing. You can't beat the price for a starter record player. I would not buy this for a child or teen though because I feel it would be too easy to break. It does have an attachment for bigger speakers if that is something you wanted to buy as an extra. The am/fm stereo is okay but not the best reception in my area. I would recommend this to anyone who simply wants to hear their old records again but not anyone who is trying to throw a party :)
