Good price for a great calculator! It is new enough for a graphing calculator (I'm talking about the model) because I think the newer ones are not really necessary, and you can save money! Extremely helpful for classes like Statistics, Calculus, and all of the other Math classes.
I am currentky a college student entolled at Northwest Arkansas Community College and this particular calculator has done me well! Ive taken quite a few math classes the 2 1/2 years ive been there and i dont know how i would have managed with this! You can do nearly any problem you can imagine on it. Especially once you figure out all the tips and tricks that are hidden in the on it! Itâs a very fast and convient calculator to have on hand and I would recommend to anyone!
It was priced at a good price, but I was somewhat disappointed that it showed available in my local store for delivery, but was actually out of stock and it had to be shipped. Shipping was quick and my daughter got the calculator she needed by her next math class.
I am a sophomore in high school and I will be taking AP Calculus soon. This class also has a bit of Trigonometry. I have tried various mathematical problems, ranging from the most complex, to the simplest of them all. After doing so, I learned that this calculator is very efficient and fast in solving practically any math problem the average high schooler will see. In addition to its efficiency, it allows for multiple applications which you can easily download from a computer. I have to admit, though, that the buttons and controls may be a bit confusing to someone new to the TI calculator series. However, with a bit of practice and reading, this calculator will be simple. The TI-84 plus is truly a good option for a student in need of a graphing calculator, but isn't wealthy enough to afford those flashy, color calculators.
Standard TI-xx calculator, awesome device. Almost makes me yearn to be a freshman in HS again. Almost. Wish they'd come up with a $50 app that does the same though.
My son came home from his first week in school and said he needed a scientific calculator so I did some research and decided on this model. I then researched prices and was happy to find the best deal available on Walmart.com with free shipping to my local store. The calculator works perfectly for my son in his AP Calculus class!
We use the solo cups at home. I like the SOLO cup brand, because the bottom of the cup is square so the cups do not spill over like the off brand disposable cups.
The item i received was open box, when it was supposed to be new. I ordered it same day delivery and even tipped. Considering the same person that pulled the item from the shelf is the same person that delivered. ( was obviously open box) shame on Walmart for not stating that in the inventory. After discovering this, i had to same day ship from Amazon ( no issues from them.) i tried to return the item in store and “our computers are down” being a full time student and parent along with having a full time job, i just don't have time to try to return at another Walmart.
Graphing calculator was not new in package. Similar to another review, the calculator I received was cut open at the top and I do not know if it was used and returned and now shipped to another customer. I am not pleased with this product and Walmart should not be selling it as a new product if its clearly been opened.
Im not sure on the operation of the calculator yet, but Im pretty upset the package looked as if it was cut open (as if someone used it and returned it) and now it was shipped to me. This comes down to some quality control before being sent out or it was deliberate. Brian B.
