I personally use this Digital video baby monitor in my new born babies room. I like all the features it has. For instance, the 1000ft range. I don't have to worry about leaving my baby when I go outside to check the mail or feed the animals. I can being the monitor with me. The video quality is great. The display is clear. Another great feature I like is the Infrared night vision. It allows me to watch my baby clearly at night. Lastly,I like the microphone and I'm able to hear everything in my baby's room clearly. Bottom line,I believe tht this baby monitor rates in the top of baby monitors. It's built to last and the features are great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This 3.5" Video Baby Monitor is amazing. You will be surprised by the multiple functions of this baby monitor. The screen is just the right size. You can see quite a bit on it. It is lightweight. So, you can carry it with you anywhere. It has a wonderful range, so you can step outside and rest assured your kid(s) will be safe. It will beep if you get too far away from it/ out of range. I love the fact it has a rechargeable battery. We go through so many batteries, that this is a great bonus in my book! It does display the room temperature, which is great for younger kids. Or if you just want to make sure your room stays at a certain temperature for your kid(s). Also it could be a safety concern as well. I would suggest you make sure your device has a good charge on it before walking around with it. The display really is top of the line. It is very vibrant. You can adjust the brightness of the display. The night vision works excellent which helps you sleep better at night. You can adjust the volume of the device. The volume levels are very easy to hear. So, you can set it knowing you won't have a problem hearing it. The whole device is very easy to use. This is not too bulky, which is great for parents that are always on the move. One con however, is that it does not include directions for use in the box. Which some parents may find very valuable. Other than that I really find this as a must have gadget for all parents/ caregivers. I personally would buy this again. I also would be the first to recommend this to any parent/ caregiver needing a monitor. It met all my expectations and beyond. I did receive this baby monitor at no cost to me. I received the Motorola 3.5" Video Baby Monitor free for my honest review from Viewpoints. I love it! Worlds better technology than our original video monitor from several years back. I did have to move away from closet shelving unit, but otherwise had nice clear picture. Love that it has a temp reading, and that its color picture is clear with daylight and decent with night vision. Sound was good also! Definitely recommend to others! 1.How does the 3.5" Video Baby Monitor compare to other products you've tried? This is the 2ND one I have tried I really like this one more than the Samsung version it has the ability to reach further then the other one. I love that it plays lullabies so when I'm in another room my son still hears something. I can also take to him when he wakes us with the ability to have a nice size screen as well. The only I didn't like was the camera didn't move on its on but it did scan every hour based on my setting. Overall, I am a fan of the monitor. For reading ease, I will review the monitor and camera separately. Monitor The monitor is made of plastic and feels a little cheap. The picture is very clear compared to other monitors that I have used. As far as audio, it has two-way communication and the quality is decent. It gets the job done. You can expand up to 4 cameras and there are auto-switch screen options that make it easy to keep an eye on more than one child. The monitor is nice and big (3.5") without being too bulky. A nice feature is the room temperature display that lets you know if it's too hot or cold in the room. The monitor has 1000 ft range. I walked throughout my home and even outside with no issues. I have not had any problems with signal interruption. There is an indicator for wireless range strength and it will make a sound if not paired with the camera. I get about 3 hours of battery life out of the unit but usually keep it plugged in when using it at home. The battery is convenient for travel or use in a temporary location. There are 5 lullabies but my kids have never really been too keen on these so I don't use them. Camera The camera is made of plastic as well. The major downside I see with this camera is that you have to adjust the pan (left and right) and tilt (up and down) manually. If you have a young child, this shouldn't be a problem. However, once they get a little older, they can be on the move while attempting to get them to nap. It would be nice to adjust it without having to go into the room. The zoom feature is nice. The infrared night vision is nice in very low light levels and works better than I expected. Overall, this monitor performed better than expected. After testing and using the monitor in my home, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a monitor with simple features. However, it may not be ideal for those that are tech savvy because it does not live stream, record, or connect to a smartphone. It's a great basic monitor. I received the #Motorola 3.5" Video Baby Monitor for free for my honest opinion from #ViewPoints. I tried it out in my daughters room and it worked perfectly! I loved that it can play soothing bedtime music to soothe my child. It also has a temperature dial so I could check the temperature if needed. This item is junk. Itâs great until it up and breaks. Motorola told us that since it was a baby shower gift and we didnât have a receipt or date of purchase that it was not warranty worthy - even though the screen just stopped working with vertical lines down it. I asked if I could send it to Motorola for repair - and they donât do repairs just replacements! They only offered me 25% off my next replacement monitor. Why would I buy from a company that doesnât even repair their own work? I would just be facing the problem again in the future.
This monitor is awful. I have, unfortunately, had many monitors and this is by far the worst. The range of 1000ft is not quite that. It screams at me when I'm 15ft away. The battery life is pathetic as well. 2 hours. Maybe. After a full charge. The picture is grainy and there's no way for you to move the camera. So so so diapasointed in Motorola. I've owned this monitor a week, and all these problems. Keep shopping. This isn't the monitor you want.
The battery life sucks! My grandma gave this to me as a baby shower gift and I just took the screen off charge like maybe an hour ago and it died
I would give this zero stars it it was possible. I recieved this monitor as a baby shower gift, claims to be wireless and have large range for connection. If taken off the charging cord it doesnt stay on. No matter how long its on the charging cord it will beep obnoxiously and very loud also will show the battery red
