Best lightsaber ever! Much better than the name brand!!
I let my son pick a prize for getting a shot and this is the cheapest toy he ever picked since and the one that was the most used. He loves playing with it. It lights up and makes this laser sounds like in the movie and then kinda changes when it hits something. He sure got the $3 worth out of it.
I bought several of these for my youngest grandsons, who are 4 years and 1.5 years old. I bought multiples, because i thought they would break quicky. To my surprise, they are all still going strong... despite being stepped on, thrown, and surviving very rough âsword fightsâ between the older toddler and adults. Iâm impressed. Iâm including 2 pictures of the same sword. The first picture shows how the tip of the wand is dented. The 2nd picture shows how the bottom is broken from being stepped on, but the wand is still lit. I might just have these things until they are adults. Canât beat the quality for the price!
It's insane how much my nephews like this simple toy. It's inexpensive but it lights up and has realistic sounds. My grown children won't put them down.
For the price I think this Space Sword is a great toy and bargain. Quality seems fine, especially for the price. I purchased this for my 7 year old grandson. Actually I got two, so he could play with his sister, so for less than $10 they both can play. It's a little noisy, if you're in a small space. A pointer: you have to keep pressing the button, don't just press once and leave it or it makes a continuous monotonous sound. When you press it again it makes a different sound and turns off immediately after. This is with an individual sword. However, if playing with another person, you press the button once and engage in swordplay and it makes a cool sound and flashes when in contact with the other sword. Then you press the button when finished and it makes the different sound and immediately shuts off. If just one child playing with it, it will make the contact sounds when struck against a soft but firm surface, like the padded arm of a chair for instance. I wouldn't trust it not to break if struck against a harder object like a wooden furniture piece; so would recommend this toy for two kids. Its more of an interactive toy. I know my grandson will love this gift. And my thanks to the makers/sellers for a simple and decent quality toy that doesn't cost a fortune and is actually fun to play with.
I took these to a family reunion camping trip and they really made the night times in the dark special. The blue and green colors are surprisingly bright indoors all day or outdoors at twilight. The sabers hum continuously and make clashing noise and flicker when you contact other sabers. They held up surprisingly well to 4 teenage boys sparring with them for hours. Only 3 of 15 broke. Protip: If you find the right size piece of PVC, you can easily make a dual blade.
The space sword is an inexpensive alternate to the regular light saber from Star Wars. It is slightly smaller and takes AAA batteries. However at under $5.00 you cannot go wrong. My four year old looks silly with a big light saber but this one fits his size. However, don't let them rough up by hitting too hard because it might break. I gave it fours stars for the price (5 stars) and lack of durability (2 stars).
It's fine for the cost, the sound it makes is SO LOUD. and repetitive. and obnoxious. Never would have order this if I'd known it would be so loud and that the top lights inside the sword would dislodge/break the first day from wacking things. (see picture) I guess it's worth it for a few days of fun but I think my kid will break it or I will get fed up with the sound in not too long.
Some real genius packaged this sword! Bent in half like a taco to get it in the box. My kids was so happy to see his package arrive only to burst into tears at the condition of his item that he saved his money to buy himself
lights stop working within a week of purchasing
