I am so glad they finally are selling the replacement blades all put together where you only have to pop it into the shaver, in the past you had to assemble the blades into a small plastic rings which was very difficult to do. I had to return the whole shaver to Costco and by a new one because I could not assemble the blades, so I am soon glade they now come pre-assemble, it's about time the company used it's head! I'm sure there were many others that had the same difficulty as I did in the past.
I received exactly what I ordered. I went to Ama2on hoping to get what I wanted for less money but the reviews on the site were filled with unhappy customers complaining about knock-offs, refurbished product and only getting razor blades and not the retaining assembly (head). I went to the Walmart website because the Phillips Norelco site listed Walmart as a merchant.
After a little more than six months of using my new shaver, I decided to buy new shaving heads. I have a heavy beard and it takes its toll on razors of any kind. Glad I made the purchase because I am getting a better shave again.
great product would not use any other razor great cut clean and close although replacement blades are pricey.
The Series 9000 shaver is OK but not as comfortable or as close a shave as the HS8000 Series shaver I used to have, especially under the nose. I have had the shaver for about 18 months and the charging/cleaning cradle has worked intermittently for most of that time. I changed the heads at about 12 months as recommended but they seem to start dulling at about six months. I have a tough beard and only Norelco works for me.
I want to like these blades, but after only two weeks, they aren't sharp, and it takes twice as long to shave!
This shaving head is junk. Bought a 2 pack and both just keep falling apart. Sharp but spend more time holding together the 3 pieces than shaving. Clips are cheap and don't hold, tried to bend tighter but they break. Simple a bad design with cheap parts, double whammy of failure.
The shaving head does not even fit. My shaver calls for a SH90, which this claims to be, but the head does not fit. I removed the blades and put them in the old head, but the foils are painful and also smaller so they don't fill the slot. At this point, I have had to use my old head and foils with the new blades (as they need replaced). I am waiting to see if the blades even work. At his point, this was a giant waste of money.
Terrible. Replacement head would not clock into the shaver. All components minus the blades were made of plastic whereas the original had metal keeper rings and heads. Clearly a knockoff. Nothing Norelco related on the packaging.
These blades will fit the 9000 series shaver and they are a deceptively good copy. Beyond the looks they fall flat. They are like shaving with a wire brush. They are shipped in a plain white box with no traceable markings, come with no paperwork and Walmart will not take items back that are sold on the marketplace. I should have known better but I fell for it. So while I wait for the OEM product from Amazon, I will continue to use the dull shaver head that I have. Walmart, you need to do a better job of policing these bad actors and stop allowing them to sell these cheap knock-offs.
