I was looking for a single speed cruiser to ride the trails of Gulf Shores. This bike is geared just right for me. I am 6 ft. tall & this is a good fit. I have only ridden it twice, about a total of 18 miles. So far........I'm in love ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent bike for a big guy, 6'2" 220. Perfect seat height so doesn't hurt your knees when peddling
I have been meaningbto get a cruiser bike for awhile now and finally did so by ordering this bike, free shipping was a big plus. When it arrived it was easy to assemble and it rides very smoothly, I have enjoyed it and now my wife wants one.
This cruiser bike is the ULTIMATE! I am a 6'-0" and 300lb man and this bike can not only hold me but the pounds are dropping! I ride it everyday when I get home from the office and I constantly get comments on the style. I was looking for the other 29" Genesis Onex bike but stumble upon this one by the same manufacturer. I have had it for a month and the ride is comfortable and smooth. I had to make some minor adjustments- tighten the handle bars, fenders and I hear a slight noise but know if it is the fenders or the gravity brakes. The brakes you will have to get used too. ALL in ALL this bike is well worth the money. I call it my DeBo bike (Friday movie fans).
My actual first bike purchase was given as a gift to my boyfriend. I immediately considered purchasing from Walmart of course for convenience and pricing. I was impressed with the selection in store and an associate encouraged me to go online for a larger selection. I took her advice and the rest is history< I was pleased that the store also offered assembly of the bike. My boyfriend has been riding since I presented him with his birthday bike.
Had bike for about 2 months now . Picked up assembled from store . Bike is light ,, but feels and rides solid . I just double checked the nuts and bolts and tightened them up when I got it . But all were fine . Pedals fine , Rides smooth and no rattling . A+ so far . Would recommend . Also ,, Get alot of compliments on the color ,,, especially the Bright Green Rims .
I like the aluminum frame, good size tires, but is some different from other bikes. You sit high in it so you have to learn to mount and dismount a way that suits you. I am 6' 2" and found I had to get a higher seat position, not shorter, so my legs would stretch out to rest while pedaling. I bought a longer seat post and also got a better seat that has springs and more cushion. Yet the bike itself is unique and a bargain. Amazing that it is as light as it is and yet strong, that's seems to show it is good quality. Put air in the right pressure and checked wheels that bearings weren't too tight. I see another retailer has 29" tires so not worried about that. I'm getting exercise as a senior and it is a lot of fun to ride.
I've only ridden this bike once but I like it a lot. I gave it a four instead of a five because my pedal makes a little noise each time it goes around & I haven't figured what it is yet - the chain rubbing against the chain guard or my pedal needing a little grease. It doesn't affect how it rides though.
Owned for 2 years. I'm 6'2" tall 265lbs and can ride long dsitances comfortably. Brakes dont stop on a dime but you get use to them. Looks cool with its black and metalic lime green 29" wheels. I added saddle bags for storage. Only problem I had was finding accesories to fit around the handle bar tubes(cup holder and Phone holder). Just used self taping sheet metal screw in cup holder. I highly recommend to men looking for a nice big cruising bike. Put alot of miles on it and more to come. Light too for mounting on rack to haul to beach.
The bike arrive 75% assembled which made it fairly easy to complete. The instructions are not exactly for the particular bike, had to YouTube it but it was easy once I saw the video. For being over 6ft the bike suits me very comfortably and it has a smooth ride. So far very satisfied with the bike.
