Was impressed by this item. I purchased this for my 5 yr. old granddaughter and the hat is roomy enough size wise for her head. The velcro is great so adjusts easily. The material is thick cotton, not a cheap looking chef's hat that I've seen in the stores. Was impressed.
I bought this as a gift for my 2 year old daughter along with a play kitchen. She loves the chef hat and apron. Both pieces are fully adjustable with Velcro.
I purchased this for my son's second birthday and he absolutely loves it! The hat and apron are made of very thick, durable material that will withstand all the action my son will give them. He has worn the hat, put it on his teddies and even squeezed it into every small space and it still is intact, no tears or anything. The apron is pretty long and my son really has not played with it much, but I think as he gets bigger he may begin to use that as well. For now, he loves the hat and wears it daily - it has been a few weeks and is still one of his favorite things.
Bought this to go with a kitchen set I purchased for my granchildren, The hat and apron are adorable. Velcro fasteners for easy on and off. perfect for playing dressup or for helping out in the kitchen. seem high quality and durable.
Believe it or not this item is hard to find...Great online experience - fast holiday shipping.... Couldn't be more pleased.
I would recommend the apron and chefs hat for any little boy or girl. My grandson just turned 4 and he loves helping in the kitchen as my 6 children did. He loved his apron and chefs hat, using it for the first time helping to prepare Thanksgiving Dinner.
The Little Tikes Chef's Hat and Apron came as a bonus with the Step2 Lifestyle Fresh Accents Kitchen, which I purchased for my 3 year old grandson's birthday. The chef's hat and apron are very cute, the quality is great, and they are size adjustable. My grandson loves wearing them during pretend play.
After much searching I came across this set and it seemed a good fit for me. The quality of the fabric is great, it will last a long time. I got these for a photo shoot for my 18 month old twins and although the apron was a tad long I pinned it up and it worked great!! These will be used by my babies for dress up and for many photo shots of other children (I am a photographer). So glad I kept looking till I found the right one!
I like that the material is sturdy and washable ( not costume-y) and the hat adjusts w velcro to fit my 4 yr old and 6 yr old... Great for boys and girls!
I was a little worried for the price being so low that it would be a cheapy type material that wouldn't last mor than a day or two of play, but pretty tough so far. I love the little pockets for spoons or spatulas, and the velcro snaps are a great feature for the kids.
