We like the electric pot. No open flames to deal with. We melted cheese. Clean up was so easy a Caveman could do it. A well worth it purchase.
We purchased this for our anniversary dinner. We love going to the Melting Pot restaurant, however, with the Pandemic and stay at home orders that where in effect in March and April, we were unable make it there. This fondu pot allowed us to recreate the experience at home and it was a fun experience to do together at home. There are Melting pot copy cat recipes on pinterest and they are amazing and easy to do.
We love fondue nights!!! This pot is awesome and SO easy to clean.
Perfect size for a small get together or date night. Heats up extreme fast and simple to use!
This is most definitely THE BEST Fondue Vesssel on the market for the $$$. The ability to control the amount of heat is as precise if not better than fondue vessels 5-10 times more $$$. A STEAL by Oster at this price!!!
I love this fondue pot! The thermometer is easy to use, and it's great because you don't have to sit there and worry about it burning. It's the perfect size for a party, although I recommend getting two: one for cheese and one for chocolate for parties! The recipe book came with some incredible recipes and I normally look over things like that and go online for recipes. Definitely read this one! I was surprised at how light weight it is. The non-stick feature made it super easy to clean. No complaints here whatsoever. We love this fondue pot! I received this fondue pot as a sample to review.
This is my first electric fondue pot and I absolutely love it! It comes with 8 different colored forks, which is super handy for groups of friends and family. It also has a temperature control, which does include he temperature and some labels of "chocolate," "cheese," "protein/cook," and "warm." I tried it out by melting chocolate first, then caramel, which melted both evenly and very quickly - I didn't have enough time to open up the foods I was going to be dipping before it had begun melting. I was shocked how quickly it worked and needed to cool it down while I opened and finished gathering what I needed. I was concerned how clean up would be with this. This was super easy to clean! No scrubbing problems or issues at all. This pot is more wide than tall too, which is my only complaint. It is roughly two inches tall, but that really is big enough for most things. I loved using this and look forward to making more tasty treats with it! I did receive this product as a sample to review, but I would actually buy this over other fondue pots.
This really is a great little fondue pot! I have 2 stainless steel Cuisinart Fondue Pots that I have had for years, but I really do prefer my new Oster Duraceramic Fondue Pot! It is very pretty, nice design, and a good size. It heats up well, and I like the detachable cord that breaks away if/when necessary. It heated up my cheese fondue quickly and also my chocolate fondue when it was time for dessert. Cleanup was a super easy as the food just wiped right away from the nonstick ceramic interior. And if you want it is fully immersable so you can stick it right in the dishwasher! I love my new Oster Duraceramic Fondue Pot and will use it for years to come! Just received my Oster fondue pot yesterday. I planned a fondue night for its arrival, so I was pretty excited when it came. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as "warm" on this device. The temperature control shows the setting from warm (100 degrees) up to 400 degrees. I bought this fondue pot for making cheese dipping sauce. To my surprise, the warm setting was over 300 degrees when I tested it with my thermometer. I tested it because it was boiling everything and it didn't make sense to me. My cheese would have been burnt if I had walked away for more than a minute, so everyone beware. This product does NOT have an accurate temperature control and ONLY boils whatever you put in it, even if you set it to warm. This was very disappointing to me since I had absolutely zero intention of boiling anything in this fondue pot. Even at restaurants, fondue pots are never rapidly boiling anything. This is not a fondue pot, rather a boiling pot since that is all it can do, and all it will do regardless of whether you set the temp to warm or 400 degrees. It is all the same temperature pretty much. Do not waste your money in this. For an extra $10 you could get one that actually keeps a consistent temperature. I will be returning mine since it is falsely advertised and does not work properly.
I needed this pot to melt chocolate. Not a good pot if you need it for treats. I tried 3x temperature settings before returning. It even burn on warm. I really like how compact and wide the pot is. It is none stick and easy to clean.
