We wanted to pierce my daughter's ears, but metal allergies run on both sides of the family. We were looking for something that would be really safe and not give her problems. After a lot of research, I settled on these titanium earrings. I checked the company's website and they are 100% pure titanium. Piercing ears at home was much less stressful for my child (age six) than having it done in store. It was easy and fun. (Note: you really have to pull the trigger hard to get the earring to release.) We're a couple of weeks in, and so far ZERO problems, which is great, because we had to do my older daughter's ears twice, even using silver and gold earring options. I only wish I'd known about titanium a long time ago. 100% recommended.
Perfect! As ordered, quick shipping. Came with gun, cartridges with pre-loaded studs, marker, gloves, after care cleaning solution. Worked like a charm! I did have to be careful moving the gun from the ear immediately after piercing because the backing was slightly stuck, no big deal.
Wow, so impressed with this little kit. It comes with the gun, a marker, gloves, antiseptic, alcohol pads, and two sealed cartridges to load into the ear gun. It was really easy to figure out how to load the gun, and after I overcame the nerves, I was able to do both my ears with no issues whatsoever. I chose the titanium earring because I have a nickel allergy, and its supposed to be the most hypoallergenic option. I would highly recommend this product.
I had my ear pierced years ago but let them close up so I bought this to push them again. The kit had everything and the ear rings were preloaded into the cartridges that fit into the punch and double sealed to keep sanitary. The punching itself went quickly and other than a small bit of pain (which for me at least was less than the first time I had them done) it didnt hurt. Just note you might need a hand with your non dominant side because holding the puncher might be a bit awkward but other then that just take it low, make sure you have everything lined up and push the plunger down until you hear the stud click snap into the earing back before releasing. Also I went with a flat faced stud just because I was afraid the prong clasp style I'd loose a gem (which happened with my first pair years ago).
I first saw this kit at a jewelry store. I liked the idea that the earrings are in a sterile cartridge so you don't touch the earnings & backings at all. After a little research online, I found the same kit at a much cheaper price at Walmart. It is really easy to use. You just need to hold the trigger tight to make sure the earrings are pierced through all the way then release. 6 weeks passed, no problem at all!
It took me a while to decide whether I want to get a blunt earring stud forced through my earlobe with a piercing gun at Claire's or what.... until I saw these disposable kits at Walmart! I made up my mind right then! So I decided to pierce my own ears :) i picked the order up late in the evening and didn't have anyone to pierce for me but I was super excited and couldn't wait so I decided to do it myself. I am 26 and it was my first piercing. Yes of course it hurt a little, you should expect to feel a pinch- I mean it is a sharp object going through your skin!! Love these earrings too they are small, I don't have a problem with them catching onto things and they are just cute ;). I felt a little nervous whenever I was pushing on the handle and earring was pushing against my ear because it seemed like the part where the earring was in was a little wobbly so I had to move it a couple of times so it would match up to the dot I made on my ear where I wanted the piercing to be. But it turned out good :) just be careful and steady, don't hurry or rush. After I pierced the ear it took a little time to get the gun off the of earring but you'll get it off, just pull down lightly and wiggly carefully. It was a little red when I did it and the ear felt a little warm, so I went to bed and in the morning everything was fine I don't even feel the earring. I try sleeping on my back and do my best to never touch them unless it's cleaning time. It's been 5 days and everything is going well. Doing a salt water soak (with correct portions) for 10 mins 2-3 times a day. Don't regret buying this for sure:)
I needed to re-pierce my ears but didn't want to spend over $100 so I purchased this kit. It was super easy and absolutely painless.
If not for this I would have 5 stars: ordered Titanium (because of a sensitive ear) but nowhere does it say it's titanium on any of the packaging, inside or outside, Its two days now and so far seems to be fine. Was so easy to use BUT first test it before actually putting on your ear so you know exactly where to push on the trigger (in the center, toward the top or bottom); test by pushing the trigger 'just enough' to make sure it will line up with the earring back. I only needed to do one ear but used both because the first one didn't line up right so discarded it, so tried again with the second one but tested it first and found I had to push my trigger toward the bottom for it to line up. PS was a little tough getting the first one out, but carefully managed it just fine. I think it would benefit all if added Titanium to the packaging and put 'Test first' in instructions.
This item did not work. I would like a refund.
This piece of junk FELL APART AS IT WAS IN MY 9YO's EAR! Do not buy- this traumatized her. I can't believe Walmart gets away with selling useless junk that is meant to put a hole in kid's bodies Iike WOW!
