I picked this for my son, and he loves it. When he showers, the gel leaves a refreshing scent that goes through the house. It sure will wake you up.
The Axe 2-in-1 Body and Hair Shower Gel is the best shower gel I’ve ever used. I have never used a thicker, more heavily scented shower gel and I’ve tried dozens of different kinds. These two things are important to me because there is nothing worse than a shower gel that slides off your skin the moment water touches it. This shower gel is thick enough to withstand a beating shower head for several minutes before it completely washes away, and even then there is still enough left to shave with. It washes off when you physically wash it off which means it stays where you want it to. The second reason this is an amazing product is that it leaves your skin scented well after the shower is over. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another shower gel again. The scent is intense and extremely yummy. In fact, though this is meant for men, I, as a woman, think it smells amazing. It has a sort of underlying citrus scent that is fresh and invigorating. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or greasy afterwards, either. Just clean and fragrant. I wouldn’t use this as a sole form of shampoo, but it didn’t do a bad job in that category either. It’s a little more drying than some other moisturizing shampoos, but then again, it wasn’t designed as a moisturizing shampoo. If you are looking for a shower gel that stays put and doubles as a shave gel, shampoo, and body spray, this is the only place you need to look. On a side note, other Axe shower gels don’t have the amount of thickness that this one does. The 2-in-1 is the only Axe shower gel that I’ve used that is nearly as thick and lasts as long under running water.
In todays economy everybody is looking for a great deal. A lot of people will buy the cheapest item and then be disappointed with the results they get. Value is paying maybe a little more and getting great results. It comes down to priorities. Here is a example of what a Value item is.Axe is already known for their excellent product line and with this 2 in 1 they are still batting a thousand. For me it has been a great product. I am cursed with baby fine hair that runs on the oily side so usually it's flat and feels greasy on my head. Now everybody knows that finding a shampoo that will add volume without drying your hair out is a hard find. Not anymore. To put it simply,this stuff works.It cleans your hair, rinses out, and leaves you with hair that feels thicker along with the fact that it smells great. This product will come in handy by taking an extra bottle out of the shower and with the size and shape of the container it's easy to hold on to and fits in all of the shower caddies. It is a nice thick gel that is not runny so it makes an excellent body wash, rinses clean and invigorates your skin making you feel refreshed and ready to go. Works great with a shower sponge or loofah. Being both a shampoo and a body wash also makes it easier when traveling by not taking up as much space as two bottles would. It doesn't appear to dry your skin out like most soaps do so thats a plus also. Try this Axe product and I doubt you will be disappointed. I wasn't.
My son and I both use this product and it is a great product. It is a little on the thick side (little extra to wash off). My son and I have used the axe products for years and like to try the new ones when they come out and this was no different. It leaves me felling clean and smelling good. My son likes these products so much he always wants me to buy him the gift packs for his birthday and Christmas. I would recommend this product to any man or boy who wants to fell clean and smell great after taking a shower.
AXE Sport Blast is a 2 in one shampoo and shower gel. It has a nice, clean, fragrant smell and leaves your body feeling clean and refreshed. My hair was very soft as well.
This body wash is mostly just that, body wash. There sure is a lot of hype with the Axe commercials being so awesome and making men smell awesome and be 'irresistible', but I did not find that with this. In fact, I could not even smell the 'Sport Blast' after my guys (husband and seven year old son) had washed. I really wanted to love the smell, but the only way I could even smell it was to open up the dispenser and make the air come out from the wash. For it to be the "Number one male shower gel brand in the world," it was not exactly amazing. It was a nice texture and they said it left them feeling clean, though. The one day after my husband had a really hard day at work he washed with it and he said it was refreshing, though (it claimed to be 're-energizing'). (Which, I would think that after a long hot manual day of work, any hot shower and body wash could do the trick.) My husband used it for his shampoo and conditioner too and it did not make his scalp itch or be flakey, which is nice. I noticed that his hair was pretty soft after using it, too. He said it did not feel clean after he washed it though. The color was appealing to my seven year old, that's for sure. It was very bright blue. He did not use it as shampoo, though, because he freaks out if it gets in his eyes and is not tear-free. (I am guessing that is because it is for men.) It says it is "an energizing shower gel that picks you back up and gets you ready for the real game", so I guess if you MAKE yourself believe it's true, then it will be. Yes, you would have to buy a body wash and shampoo if you were to get something else, but I think even that might be worth the money.
This gel has a pleasant clean, (slightly citrus to me) scent. It is masculine but not overly so. My husband said he likes it but he had some confusion-as did I-as to whether this product is also a shampoo. The description on the Walmart website says "Shower Gel and Shampoo" and on the bottle is says "2 in 1 Body and Hair" in small lettering. Nowhere on the front or back labels does it say the word "Shampoo". If it is supposed to be marketed as a shampoo as well as a shower gel, then the makers should print the word "shampoo" on the label. The current label leaves room for ambiguity. My husband chose to use his regular shampoo instead of washing his hair with could possibly be just a shower gel.
After my husband used AXE Sport Blast 2 in 1 Shower Gel and Shampoo for 5 days, here are the results. It has a long lasting clean fresh fragrance. It is not fruity, flowery or musky perfume smelling. The sporty awesome scent stays on for much longer than expected. However it does contain dyes and chemicals that could be bothersome or slightly over powering for some people. It has a nice attractive bottle that is easy to grab, fits well in the hand and not slippery. Fits great in the shower caddy without falling out. A 2 products in one is terrific for the shower stall takes up less space and saves time. It's thick coming out of the bottle, be careful not to use to much, a little amount on a loofah sponge or wash cloth is all that is needed to make a fantastic lather that foams up well. It cleans the hair leaving it shiny and manageable with out weighting it down. It leaves the skin extremely silky, super soft, smooth and refreshing. It doesn't dry out or leave a tight feeling on the skin, like some other cheaper gels. It doesn't irritate the skin or sting the eyes. It leaves no residue on the hair or skin. It must have a conditioner, it leaves the skin with a moisturizing feeling. A body wash should be gentle enough to use everyday whether you are looking to cleanse, calm or exfoliate out your body, this is the product that will do so. You will smell wonderful from head to toes.
when I first received this product, I took a sniff of it directly from the bottle.it was extremely strong. it made me lightheaded. I checked the label on the bottle and it read that there were several ingredients in it and one was some type of mint/menthol. this product wouldn't do well for people who have a sensitivity to those ingredients. the second thing I did was place a small amount of soap, directly on the skin of the back of my hand. after several seconds, it gave my skin like a cool to hot to tingling sensation. this is without water added. it was obvious this product needed to be mixed with water. and using this product would give that refreshing sensation on the skin. next thing was, I called my 32 year old son who always swore by the axe products and I asked him if he has ever used this product and if he did, what was him impression or opinion of it. he said he used to use it a lot and it was pretty good. no complaints about it at all, and no sensitivities as well. he is a man of many allergies but this product did not affect him in any negative way. I am a female, but I use many mens products and whatever I use, my grandchildren that live with me use it too and the oldest boy is age 10. he did not have a problem with the AXE SPORT BLAST. trusting all this information, I lightly used this product in the shower. with his product, there wasn't much lathering going on, but as I said, I used this lightly. also, while in the shower, the aroma of the AXE SPORT BLAST helped open up the nasal passages. that would be a plus for sinus sufferers. it also leaves a lasting tingling feeling on the skin.
First thing you notice on this body wash is a cool looking bottle...but don't let that fool you...To start with the smell is pretty good as soon as you open the bottle...Now my teenage son tried it and he used it as a body wash and also as a shampoo...He did not like it at all as a shampoo...hair felt dry...very poor lather also...and I smelled his hair and it had no scent at all...Next to try it was my husband...He said the same thing no scent at all after using it...and in order to obtain some lather you would really have to use quite a bit of the body wash...he didn't feel refreshed either...I expected more from this product since I think they where one of the first companies to focus on male hygiene...based on my son's and husband opinion I do not recommend this product at all...
