Our new electric range from Lowe's has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen. With its sleek, high-end stainless steel and black color scheme, this range looks like it belongs in a professional chef's kitchen, not our modest home. But the upscale aesthetic doesn't come with an upscale price tag, making this range an affordable way to give our kitchen a sophisticated facelift. Beyond just looking great, the range performs even better. The spacious display screen clearly shows the oven and burner settings, and the knobs that control the burners turn smoothly and easily. Options like the power boil and warming Are very convenient
GE makes great electric stoves. I replaced my other GE 22yr electric stove because the inside door glass got broke and couldn't find parts. Everything still worked great and don't even remember having to fix it. This stove is very nice and looks great.
Perfect stove in every way! Replaced my last GE stove with this model, not because it stopped working - it was 25 years old and still going strong but has a bit of rust in the back corners of the oven after years of boiling over pies and other yummy concoctions. I really like the cooktop on this model - option for 6 inch on all 4 with front two burners also with 12 inch option Last model had one big burner back and one in front which I didn't like. I also wanted a replacement GE stove without any fancy options. Didn't need an air fryer, didn't want convection or steam cleaning. I wanted exactly the features I knew and loved and got that with this model plus a few tweaks that make it a beautiful addition to my kitchen.
This range was delivered and was easy and simple to use. Essential features for everyday use. It gets hot fast, evenly heats on stove top and in oven. It's easy to clean, and that small drawer at bottom, fits ALOT of roasting pans and cookie sheets. I'm impressed.
It is taking us some time to get used to the way the burners heat. They seem to get hot slower and then they fluctuate, getting first more and then less heat. Why is that? We also do not like the way the top surface is looking, like it is scratching . What can we use to keep that from happening. Soap and water may clean off any splatters, but not what appear to be scratches in the glass where the burners are.
Would have given it a 5, but the bottom drawer doesn't have a handle and this makes it tricky to open. Design flaw, and inconvenient if you use the bottom drawer for pan storage.
This oven was installed in our condominium in Vermont. It replaced an old oven which was slowly failing and we are pleased with its appearance. Our only problem right now is that there must have been some lubricant inside the oven door which dripped INSIDE the door glass on its first use. I hope we can get it remedied.
The stove top is easily stained and hard to clean even with the special cleaning products. It looked bad within a month of use. Other than that, the stove works great!!
We purchased this stove in December 2021, did not begin use until March 2022. Glass stove top cracked during cooking October 2023. The product warranty is only one year however a Certified GE Technician confirmed the crack was due to a flaw with the glass. Based on other reviews this is not the first time this has occurred.
Worst glass Cooktop stove I've ever encountered this thing is then 2 years old with no significant amount of use already cracked half way up the glass will include photos guess I should have done more research on the ge brand thought it was a good brand but I was sadly proven wrong buyers beware the replacement cost as much as the stove it self silly me thinking ge was a good brand
