I have back problems so I can't use my big vacuum. My daughter bought this for me because it's lightweight and does great on big or little jobs. Easy to get out and put away
After the mixed reviews I saw on this product, I hesitated quite a while until I finally purchased it. There were a lot of negative reviews on the battery life and the suction power, but for my purposes, they've been great. I purchased the vacuum to use on all of my tile floors, and to use as a hand vacuum for things like my couch or bed. That said, the battery didn't have any problems lasting while I cleaned all of my rooms with tile, and the vacuum actually picked up more than I expected after hearing how poor the suction was. The box comes with the Wandvac and the docking station for wireless charging. I was surprised to realize that you can charge the vacuum fully assembled, or you can remove the hand vacuum from the floor nozzle, and wand. I also didn't realize that, when charging on the docking station, the dock has the capability to detect when the battery is full and will stop charging once it reaches full charge. The LED lights on the vacuum let you know how much battery you have and when the vacuum is charging versus not. I was also pleasantly surprised at the way the vacuum maneuvered. It's not as easy as the Dysons are, but it has a wide range of movement, including being able to go basically flat against the floor to get under the table and chairs. The only downside that I've encountered so far is that, while the Wandvac does great on low pile rugs, carpet or heavy pile rugs can jam up the roller. That said, most of my surfaces are tile and low/no pile rugs in my kitchen and bathrooms. For those, it worked perfectly fine. In that capacity, I'm much happier with the vacuum than a standard broom. I was afraid that the vacuum might have a habit of flinging the dirt more than actually picking it up, but that hasn't been the case so far. I'm so glad I purchased this vacuum!
Light weight, easy to maneuver. Convenient and easy charging. Worth the money. Made my life easy.
I was holding off to buy the handheld wandvac because we have another one (we like to keep one upstairs and one downstairs). But when I saw this… it made total sense. It was a two in one. I was a Dyson customer for years but tried shark a few years back and never went back to Dyson. The value, quality and performance of their products are unmatched….and if you can get them on sale, even better. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
Love love love this little hand and floor Vac. Good battery life, can do my whole first floor on 1 charge. Lightweight enough to get cobwebs out of corners of ceiling. Downside: very very small dust chamber so have to empty for every room. Also there is no light to shine on the dust. My big Shark has that, why doesn't this little guy.
this vacuum works really well....until the battery dies. (which doesn't take long). I bought this in Jan, and I was only able to get good use out of the battery the 1st time or 2 that I vacuumed. after that, it now only lasts about 10 min. it does, at least, keep the hair from winding around the brush roll as promised. I would also like to be able to use attachments to vacuum between the cushions on my couch.
I just bought this 2 days ago. And I'm really thinking about returning, which I've already started the process to return... Now this vacuum is beautiful. But I hate the debris chamber. You have to press the button and it pops out to empty it. If your not careful it will pop out and get everything you vacuumed right back on the floor! Battery isn't that great. I didnt time my vacuum time but id say not even 10-12 mins long. I did charge the battery to full charge before first use. And Lastly the most annoying part of this vacuum is.... I was just vacuuming my bedroom. I had hair on the floor and it would pick up the hair and spit it right back out along with other debris on the floor. I would push the vacuum over the dirt on the floor and pull back and forth and it wouldnt even keep it all in the vacuum. Plus stuff is wrapped around the roller not sure how to get it out. My corded Bissell Powerforce Helix vacuum for $50 or $60 is much much MUCH better than this Shark cordless vacuum. I thought this vacuum was going to be amazing because it is from Shark and its cordless but it's not. I can say I do love the handheld feature and the charger design but that's about it. Im going to keep trying it for a little more time to see if I like it along with figuring out how to get the stuff around the roller out to see if it performs better and will pick up debris and keep it, not spit it back out. But really debating on returning and getting a better cordless vacuum... Dyson? Maybe but ugh so expensive
Arrived broken.
This vacuum is garbage! The quality of Shark vacuums has gone downhill. After one use, this vacuum wasn't picking anything up! I emptied it and cleaned it and it still wasn't picking g up like it should. Very disappointed in Shark products anymore!
This product claims to be hair free but after 2 weeks of use I got a bunch of hair stuck in it. The suction is week and it only comes with a 5 year LIMITED warranty meaning shark will only replace the main body of the vacuum and not the rest. To replace your body you have to video call shark. Overall I dont recommend this vacuum, this is one of the worst shark products I have ever used
