I've had this product for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. My 3month old daughter swings for hours in it. Only thing I don't like about it is the toy bar. The toys are very hard and the bar makes it hard to get baby in and out especially if they are asleep. So I just took it off and decided not to use it at all.
I got 2 swings for my twins and loved them. The swing would keep them calm as they listen to the music. Now that they're bigger they like to rock and lounge in the chair.
I have gotten the rocking chair for my other two children, but when I found that it could have a swing attachment I was excited! My, now 7 month old, loves her swing! She has used her from day one and has come in handy many a times. The swing is very easy to put together and very easy to clean. It can drain a battery, but then again my daughter uses it all the time. The swing part is very quiet and really light. I have told many new parents about just the rocker, but now I tell them about the swing!!!
I had one of these 3 in 1 swings with my first daughter. Just got this for my second daughter and she loves it. It is a great value for the money considering how this chair grows with your baby. The instructions were a bit confusing, but what baby product instructions are ever clear.
I have had this swing since my baby was born, which is 4 months ago, and it has been amazing. She falls asleep in it all the time. Being able to take the seat off and bring her into other rooms is great too. Also, I haven't needed to change the batteries yet. I highly recommend.
I'm glad I exchanged the swing that she had for this one. She used to be fussy and take a short nap on the other swing which I can't barely do anything. This swing is amazing it's like magical she will sleeps good on this one. And when she woke up she's always smiling. And on top of it I can do all my chores while she's sleeping. It's really comfortable for my baby. The music & adjustable speed is a plus. And I tried it too as a rocker & still my baby sleeping good on it. We really like this. Now me & my baby are both happy =)
This swing is great. Easy to install. Light weight and easy to store, perfect speeds. Washable. And will last forever. Not only because of th email max weight of 40 lbs, but because it grows with the kid into a rocking chair. Also, the five point harness is great since you can do just a lap belt if you want. Plus you can't beat the price! Only negatives are that it doesn't sit the child upright (my kid never liked that anyway) and it takes batteries, which I prefer so you can expect the motor to last longer . Not really made for infants due to no infant seat but you can easily velcro a infant head rest from a car seat or buy them cheap some where and it would work just the same
My baby is sleeping really well in this automatic swing. I am using Duracell battearies which so far has not been any issue for me. It would have been really great if Fisherprice can give a socket for external power.
I ordered this swing as a shower gift for my brother and sister-in-law. I went to pick the swing up today and was disappointed. The cashier opened the shipping box to make sure the right product was inside. When she opened it, there was no Fisher Price box inside. The swing just was thrown into the shipping box very sloppily. The shipping box looked like very torn and mishandled. I really wanted this swing because it had so many great features, but I just did not want to show up with a gift that looked as if I found it sitting on the curb in front of someone's house. I had them to cancel the order and just picked up a different swing off the shelf. I didn't try out the product obviously. If you are buying this for your own baby, the packaging may not be a big deal to you. This review is to let others who may be looking for a gift to give that the packaging does not look like something new that you bought more like something an Ebay seller would have sent after selling you the swing their child got too old for. It was a deal breaker for me.
I bought this swing, because it was the only swing that the description said it would hold 40 pounds. The swing DOES NOT hold 40 pounds, the swing holds 25 pounds, then it converts to a rocking chair. It will be returned.
