The Jeans are Awesome but the size is a little big, I usally wear a 36 waist and since these were Flex Stretch fabric I ordered a 34 and they are still a little big, I ordered another pair of 33 this time.
Least amount of Elastic in 511 slim jeans ls 1% found in (Product Code 9) PC9-04511-1163. Other 99% is cotton. Made in Pakistan. Color is throttle (1163). If
Fit great for small butts. Color was as advertised. Quick delivery. But, they replaced an identical pair bought two years ago that ripped for no reason. I'm hoping these will last longer,
I've bought this style several times because I really like the fit throughout. But the waist size can be 1-2 sizes up or down from the size they are labeled. Buying them without trying them on is a bit of a risk.
I buy Levi's for most of my jean needs. I've come to learn that I get what I want about 80% of the time. This pair of 511 was too long and not as form fitting as past 511 I have purchased. I love Levi' and will stick with them. But just be aware, sometimes (20% of the time) they may not fulfill your expectations.
I have placed several orders for men's 511 jeans all the same color. But, I've had to return many of them because they don't fit the same. For instance, the ankle cuffs may be larger on some than others. Don't know why! Maybe there's a difference if one style has 1% elastane vs 3% elastane. I just wish it was standardized more so I know what I'm getting!
I think they need to improve the flex category of the pants. I don't know if it's just cuz it's flex in their thinner but the pockets corner pockets always get holes where they meet to the pant. It seems like almost every time we get a pair overtime that's what's happening.
I bought these jeans along with the same style (511 Slim Fit) in another color. This fit was completely different than the other pair, which was perfect. These jeans looked great out of the package, but when I tried them on, they were large and puffy despite being listed as slim fit. The butt and thighs were puffy, and even the waist was large. They were more like the relaxed fit jeans. I went online to return them and found that I couldn't exchange them. I decided to keep them and wash them in really hot water and dry them in a hot dryer to see if that would shrink them a bit. They still don't fit right. How can the same jeans with no change - but color - fit so differently? You would think that as much as these jeans cost, there would be some quality control. I should have bought in a store where I could try them on, but when I know my size and I have bought Levis for decades, I didn't see any harm in buying them online. Lesson learned the hard way. Oh, well, there's always Carharrt to fall back on.
The back rise is a full inch and a half shorter than my same size 511 denim, so these pants are constantly sagging in the back and I'm constantly pulling them up as a result. I had already cut the tags off and too much of a hassle to return, but apparently these are cut differently than the 511 denim. I would have thought 511 was a 511 regardless of fabric, but apparently not.
I loved my first pair of 511 Slim Flex so much I decided to buy a second pair. The first pair was a tad snug, but had been hand-washed cold enough times to maybe cause some slight shrinkage (and also I might have gained the Covid-19lbs), so I decided to stick with 34/32. Wow. So much bigger. Whatever, right? 99% cotton.. I'll just boil it down and stick it in the dryer. Several times. To zero effect.
