The Lifesmart Infrared Quartz Heater has come in very handy where temps outside of my home are -18 below zero. It comes equipped with child lock safety features. We are able to lock the remote control and also the control panel, keeping everyone safe. It heats up quickly once you turn it on and set the desired temperature. It also has an Eco setting which keeps the temperature on a warm setting. It's easy to start and to set up. It measures 11" wide and 14" high. It has a warm glow to it and heats up a room quickly. If you have cold winters like we do, it's a nice thing to have.
I love using this item on the colder days. It heats up the room so fast I don't have to wait much time for it. I place it in our hallway and leave the rooms open and it warms them up. I like that it has the tip over sensor makes me feel at ease. It has three settings but even the lowest setting gets the job done, it also comes with a remote control.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LifeSmart LifePro 1500W 6 Element Infrared Space Heater is an excellent heater for the price point. It's a plug and play heater, ready to use out of the box with very little things you need to know. Your basic safety and how to operate the machine, and it's ready to roll. This heater comes with a remote which is really nice, when you are feeling really lazy or are disabled and don't want to have to get up to adjust the temperature or any other settings. There are several modes you can choose, Hi/Low/Eco Mode. Power for heat up and high is 1500W, heat down is 1000W and Eco Mode is an energy saving function that will maintain temperature at 68° . You can set the temps between 50° to 90°, once you have selected the temperature the heater will stay on until it gets to the desired room temp and cycle on and off as needed. This function works very well and I found it heated my large living room area really nicely and kept it warm. This heater has a timer function, which is really nice. Both a safety feature and energy saving. This also works very well. I do recommend that you place this heater on a surface that is heat proof, the outer "shell" does not get very hot, but the inner core does. And the bottom gets warm. I found this heater to be a really easy to use, very efficient heater and it did it's job very well. Id recommend it to anyone looking for a really good space heater.

We keep all the doors closed the make sure the heat is concentrated in the living area since it is open to the kitchen and dining rooms. Our dog also loves it and cozy's up in its direct path of heat to fall asleep in warmth. It makes a slight noise but no different than that of a fan.

If your just wanting to heat a small to medium size bedroom approx 11x18 or even medium size hallway then this is your go to it holds its own and has auto shut off just in case you forget to turn it off. I always turn off when away from home for long periods at a time. Remember it still can cause fires just be aware that you don't place anything flammable around it or on top of it. I love it though very quite and you can still hear your tv

The only issue we have with it is that when it turns itself off (I guess when the room reached a certain temp), it needs to be turned back on manually instead of it turning itself back on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]  I have mixed feelings about this product. On the positive side, it heats a room up extremely quickly and is small and compact. I also really like that it comes with a remote control. It would be perfect for an office space. On the negative side, it is quite temperamental. There are heat setting and timers, but it sometimes turns off unexpected, and/or won't turn on. I'm not convinced this is always because of the temperature of the room. There is also a burning smell at higher settings, which is after a couple of weeks use. I would absolutely not leave it unattended, or with children or pets around. My dogs, for example, are fascinated by the glowing red heat filament and I don't like them going near the metal grate, which gets very hot. I imagine this is the same with all room heaters but just a note to keep it somewhere safe.
The heater that I ordered was not the one I received. I was sent the wrong one. The one I ordered did not have an air flow at the bottom. When I returned it To walmart for a refund. I was told it was a third party vendor. I got a message saying that my refund was on its way and would take up to ten days. It's been over 12 days and I'm still waiting.
Was not the one in the pictures of the description. The one I received looks similar but it's different. The intake is in the bottom of the front which seems like it would easily suck anything in. Also the cord is very thin and doesn't have a ground. The whole thing looks and seems very cheap.
