The Lifesmart Infrared Quartz Heater has come in very handy where temps outside of my home are -18 below zero. It comes equipped with child lock safety features. We are able to lock the remote control and also the control panel, keeping everyone safe. It heats up quickly once you turn it on and set the desired temperature. It also has an Eco setting which keeps the temperature on a warm setting. It's easy to start and to set up. It measures 11" wide and 14" high. It has a warm glow to it and heats up a room quickly. If you have cold winters like we do, it's a nice thing to have.
I love using this item on the colder days. It heats up the room so fast I don't have to wait much time for it. I place it in our hallway and leave the rooms open and it warms them up. I like that it has the tip over sensor makes me feel at ease. It has three settings but even the lowest setting gets the job done, it also comes with a remote control.
If you have baseboard 220 elec heat these heaters will lower your bill and they do a great job ,I own 3 and recommend them to everyone!!!
I like the automatic heating. You can set the temp and it will do it automatically
We have had many different types of space heaters over the years. This is the first one with Infrared heating elements, and certainly the first one with a remote. The outer shell of this heater is an attractive blend of materials and looks nice in any room. It is well constructed and is not too heavy to move around, even having convenient handles for carrying. The ambient temperature feature is helpful because individual rooms vary so much. In a larger room like a living room, it would take a while to notice the rise in temperature, but it would help for sure. In a small to medium room, you would get warm much sooner. The gentle fan does not make a lot of noise, but is very effective at moving warm air into the room. If you can direct it right at you, at a fairly close range, you get the benefit of both warm air and the feeling of the sun on your skin. Although only 1500 watts (the max for portable heaters) the 5000 BTU's produced sure feel good. This is a good choice for a medium sized portable heater.
We bought 2 of these. One for our camper and room for a bedroom. They have a nice remote and they heat the room very well. We use one in our camper to help with cool night when camping during the winter. Light weight and easy to move from room to room if needed. For it's size it puts out great heat. Highly recommend
Very disappointed! My son has a real good one. His has a thick grounded cord, it's built better. This one I paid over 90.00 for is a joke. Never purchase another thing from this manufacturer and Walmart can forget selling me something so important again.
Heater warms good but plug got Hot and melted. 4 months old and LIFE SMART don't want to replace it. I won't buy a LIFE SMART product again.
Order was damaged. Now i have to deal with the hassle of returns and replacement or refund. Everytime i order online the items have been damaged. I am not satisfied at all.
No filter. Waste of money and time.
