love this styling liquid! it is strange getting used to the runniness of it, but it would ruin the effect if they added a thickening agent (filler), I think. I have been using this for years and I still can't find anything even close to the beautiful curls it creates! let it dry, then scrunch... soft, shiny, held curls!
Good value, fair price, quick shipping. What more could you ask?

Paul Mitchell sculpting lotion is the best styling product I've ever used--far better than gels and mousses. Especially good for fine hair, as it gives good control without the weight and stickiness of gels.
This sculpting lotion is the best! I've been using it for over 25 years...back when it was called apple pectin... it is a LOTION, Not a gel. It's not supposed to be a gel, and it's nothing like a gel. It is a liquid sculpting lotion that keeps my curly hair under control and gives me soft, shiny, touchable hair that can be re-activated with a little water. If, when you're out and about, and your curls start to get frizzy or otherwise unruly, put clean water on your hands, and run your fingers through your curls...that's it. the soft, shiny, non-frizzy curls will reappear. What more could you ask for?
They charged me $18 each. There was a price tag on the bottom of each bottle that said $12.50.
The product was in paul mitchell bottles but it was extremely watery and did not smell like paul mitchel product. I bought lg bottle at Ulta beauty and it wad the original sculpting lotion not a fake.
The gel was watered down, not authentic product. Will return it.
