I received this as a gift for my baby shower and I loved it. Not only was it great colors but it required very little assemble and is especially easy to use! I loved it
After a lot of research and debating on what to buy - travel system, infant car seat, or convertible car seat - we settled on the travel system. We are happy with the product, the color is really nice. Only comment, the CHP officer who fixed the car seat said it is an older design because you have to pull on the straps from behind to tighten the belts (and it is difficult to pull them tight). Some of the other brands have like button in the front that you press to release the straps.
My parents bought this travel system for my little girl who is due in July and I absolutely love it. It is relatively light-weight and very easy to use. The stroller glides very smoothly and the handles are tall enough for me (I'm 6' tall and shorter strollers have given me a backache). The car seat attaches very easily both in and out of the car as well as in and out of the stroller, everything clicks in very easily and securely. The basket underneath the stroller is very large and can hold a lot of items. My one complaint though, they partially ruined the look fo this pretty car seat with a BIG, ugly yellow and white warning sticker located on the outer right upper edge of the car seat right next to where the baby's head will sit (which they conveniently do not show in their picture on the website). This sticker is nearly 5" long and 2" high and is screen printed onto the material so you cannot remove it. I'm big on safety and I know they have to have a disclaimer on the seat to not position your baby's car seat in the front of a car with airbags, but could they not have placed this hideous sticker perhaps on the back of the seat where the baby's back or bottom would cover it when they are strapped it? Or why not put it on the plastic handle??? It really cheapens the over-all look of what would be a very beautiful car seat, its a real shame someone at Graco didn't use a little common sense when placing this horrible sticker on the design of the car seat. As an informed parent, I'm well aware of where to place or not place my baby's car seat in my car, so I will be covering this massive, ugly warning label with a patch or piece of material to try and make the seat look better. At least the stroller doesn't have such a hideous addition to it or I would be returning the entire thing.
We had it about 8 months and started having problems with the folding mechanism. It started getting harder to open and finally just jammed completely to where we can no longer open the stroller. In Graco's defense, I called their warranty number and they sent me a pre-paid shipping label to send the whole system back and they are sending me a new one. See how that goes.......
Travel system is very convenient especially when baby is sleeping. I purchased this product for convenience and style. The black out line with flower pattern I didn't find to many travel systems with a similar style. The cost of the travel system was reasonable. I was not to pleased with the car seat set up. The car seat has the five point harnesses but the latch system on the car seat base is difficult to install and remove. I had trouble getting the proper level on the car seat even after adjusting the car seat base and placing the towels under the base. The car seat is able to latch to most shopping carts. When I first purchased this products it had not received any reviews.
I like the fact that this product is a travel system and you can use the same carseat both in the car and with the stroller. That has been very convenient. My daughter is five months old now, and the stroller just started giving us problems. Some mechanism of the open/close function has stopped working so we can't get it open or closed with just one hand like we used to be able to do. It takes two people to open it now because you have to manually move the mechanism that the handle is supposed to do. It's very frustrating and makes even quick trips out more difficult. Other than that, we've have no problems with the system, it's easy to clean and I love the colors.
I received this travel system as a gift for my now 7 month old daughter at our baby shower. I am very displeased with it. The handle on the car seat will not lay back so that I can easily get her out of it. Also the part of the handle that opens the stroller has quit working. I cannot use the stroller anymore because it will not open. It was so convienent when it was working, I am very upset by this. There should be a warranty for the life of the product. They aren't cheap enough to just replace all of the time. There are no replacement parts to purchase for these issues either!
I bought this carseat/stroller combo for my daughter. .. I loved them both for a while. Now the stroller mechanism isn't working.. It went from bad to worse to I can't open my stroller. . There should be a recall on this item and replacement parts should be offered.
I fell in love with this pattern and had to have it, but it wasn't a great buy car seat wise. Instead of having 3 holes for the shoulder straps as your baby grows you can move them up this one only has 2 and our daughter is only 2 months old and has been in the 2nd hole since birth.THen I hate the fact that you have to tighten and loosen the straps in the back insted of the front.
The stroller itself is fine except the opening mechanism is bad. Its not easy to use and over the course of 7 months now it became harder and harder to open. It took two hands to get it to work. Yesterday the mechanism stopped working all together. No matter what I did, it would not work properly so I could close the stroller. I had to leave my stroller where I was out in public because I had no other way of bringing it home!
