I looked everywhere and even purchased a few pretenders that claimed to connect to 1-lb bottles. This one actually does. So instead of using the small bottles I can now hook up our patio heater to a 20-lb tank!

The item that is in the picture is not the same that was sent so Walmart needs to have it updated. first when i was screwing the end that goes to the appliance the treads seemed really rough and very hard to screw all the way in to my torch but after a few times of running it all the way in and out they kind of got broken in and work fine now so the quality was lacking in this department. the rubber hose is very stiff at first but after a few days of heavy use in the direct sun lite it has softened up and is more flexible now. Would buy again price was ok but not great for the quality of the item. I would buy it again if i could not find one at a better price point and of better quality.

Works with my lanterns but not my grill. The valve/regulater on bbq doesnt work with this hose with the restricted flow end. Need to get different valve without the regulator for it to work. Also the end that is pictured isnt what you get. You get the plastic famale end, which is fine as long as it doesnt break. Easy to attach and take off. Excess gas will flow out bottle end unless you shut off tank and leave appliance on to clear line.
