Bought this for a 7-month-old 16-pound Italian greyhound who is already crate trained but has outgrown his "bed." I've had him in a Graco playpen at night for the past few weeks but was trying to figure out a permanent solution. The port-a-crate PERFECT! I put his bedding in it and he made himself right at home (so did the cats). As the material that comes with it says, I would not recommend for a dog that is not already crate trained because it could easily be chewed through. For one who is, however, this is very high quality, very easy to set up and break down, and very comfortable. He loves it. :)
I was at first concerned there wouldn't be enough ventilation with the somewhat small mesh 'windows' on the sides. It's summer now and having a heat wave so I do have the AC on, but if the ventilation wasn't adequate, my dog would be uncomfortable and wouldn't spend time in there on her own. She likes it lot, right from the beginning. I purchased it to keep her in when I go out for for a few hours because she has occasional accidents. If she hadn't like being in there and if enclosed, I don't know how it would have held up if she were to chew on material. Just took pic I uploaded to this site. Happy as a clam. She's a 15 lb cocker spaniel/doxy mix, 2 yrs old. There's plenty of room, tho not too much. For the price, you just can't beat this crate. One of my best purchases.
I have used this crate for my little 6 pound dog now for 2 years and she absolutely loves her little "nest". When I first got the crate to replace a cold, wire and plastic crate, I had no idea how wonderful this crate was until my dog willingly goes in it. It is HER BED and she LOVES IT!! It is her safe and secure little den with a nice soft pad and a soft blanket. This crate is so well made and is durable and ever so easy to wipe down and keep clean. I love the zipper feature with the mesh for ventilation. The top opening is a great feature too. When traveling in the car on long trips, we take her crate so that her bed is right there for her to curl up in. It is easy to transport and the nice soft sides and neutral color make it very pleasant looking. This is a fantastic crate and I can't imagine anyone buying anything else. This is the best crate on the market and the price is certainly great as well. The folding up feature is excellent although I don't ever use. If for some reason I ever needed to store it, I think it is well made and once folded up, takes up very little space. It is not available in all Walmart stores but if your local Walmart doesn't have it, by all means, buy it on-line. You won't regret it and your pet will be ever so happy that you did.
I love this crate. I got it for my 2lb. Yorkie and he loves it. It's spacious enough to just rest in it but cozy enoughto get a good nights sleep. It has one main zipper door in the front, a zipper on top and Windows on the remaining three sides. This is an extremely sturdy product. Jagger(my yorkie) is constantly biting and scratching the mesh windows, and they're holding up strong! It has a metal frame so u ca, n easily stack something over it without .worrying about smashing puppy. It's a bit too big to use as an everyday carrier, so ill definitley be buying the smaller one as well for whenever i plan on carrying him around town. Some ppl complained about it not having a solid base, for us it hasn't been an issue, but then again it may be because jagger is only 2lb. I definitley recommend this product. It's a super product with a great price!
Just got this product and it is excellent. Both my cats are cuddled up in it. They are 13 lbs apiece so it is a nice size. It is the lowest cost carrier I found but the quality so far is excellent. It also arrived 3 days before the earliest estimated arrival date.
They run a little large although you wouldn't know it from this photo! My large Rottweiler/Staffordshire puppy likes to get in it although it is her Jack Russell sister's crate! The larger one next to it is hers!
This kennel is perfect for travel. It collapses to a compact size and is lightweight. The 36 inch fits a husky perfect. Easy to setup and looks nice as well.
Last month, I made the move from PA to FL and needed something larger than the carrying crates I took my two cats in to the vet. I found this and thought it was perfect. I ended up ordering a E-32, which was way to big for two cats, then the E-20 based on others' comments who said it fit two cats well. I found that it was way to small for them. I would not recommend the E-20 for two cats, one yes, but even that might be pushing it. I finally settled on the E-24, which was the perfect size for my two cats. They loved it on the way down. While I ended up letting them out in the car, the one slept on the passenger side floor and the other "claimed" the cage as his. Casey used to sleep with me every night, well, I was out done by his crate as he loves sleeping in it at night on his blanket. It is his favorite nap spot too. I would HIGHLY recommend this product. It is durable, the perfect size, and a great way to transport two cats.

At first, I loved this product and the dog did too but within a week, the attached hook used to lock the zippers fell off. I should have returned it right them and there but decided I could sew it back on or, just use it to lock the zippers even though it was no longer attached to the crate. Not a month later, the 4 lb. Maltese (who is MUCH smaller any average sized cat) scratched thru the zipper to gain free rein of the house. Not good! We woke to quite a mess, I can assure you. Anyway, purchase at your own risk.
