I bought this item to put humidity in the air in my bedroom as I seemed to be getting very dry nasal passages and sinus headaches in the morning. I found that since I started using it, I am no longer waking up with any sinus discomfort at all. I did research humidifiers and read many reviews and this particular model fit my needs perfectly. It has automatic shut off and 2 speeds. Runs very quietly which is a good thing.
I use this every night all night long and I don't wake up with headaches like I did before. I have to take allergy medicine every day and this certainly helps my head from being stuffy. I purchased this item through the internet and about 1 hour later it was ready at the store so I could pick it up. One thing I noticed was, it was $10.00 higher in the store than it was on line.
Bought for the grand baby and use in my own room when the baby doesn't need it.. Great source of warm moist vapor ,easy to use and two settings plus night light (dim glow).Large easy to fill tank easily lasts all night on high setting. Has been just the ticket for all the dry coughs and congested coughs too.
Product is easy to fill and easy to use. Minimal parts and cleanup with white vinegar is easy.
Using the humidifier in baby's room and it meets my expectations. We need to add more moisture to baby's room during the winter months. It's not too noisy and the nightlight is dim enough not to disturb. Works great as long as you follow the cleaning instructions. I have hard water so I expect a certain amount of buildup. The price is right, so I don't mind if we need to replace the unit after a couple of seasons.
CAREFUL HANDLING THE TANK. IF IT BANGS AGAINST ANYTHING OR DROPS BY ACCIDENT, THE TANK BREAKS OR CRACKS EASILY. I have three units
We have had this machine for a week and a half. There is a lot of crust build up that falls onto the furniture so I suppose I should clean it once in a while. I find it a little weird that the water goes into the bottom of the tank, so you take the tank off, fill it up, then turn it upside down and put it back. It slides in very easily and doesn't leak. I am very satisfied with the product and have ordered another one for a different room. The room adjacent to the one with the humidifier has a hydrometer which has jumped from 16 to 22.
I got this item at the ed of the heating year and I won't be using it much now but I will have it for next season. I turned it on high and my humidity went above 70%. Wow. I have to learn how to set it but it does put needed moisture in the air. It is worth what I paid for it. I will use this product when I run my furnace.
This humidifier does not live up to expectations. First of all, it does not produce enough steam, even on the high setting. It also has a lot of plastic parts that need to be disassembled for cleaning quite often. The heating element quickly accumulates white mineral deposits which are difficult to remove, even with full-strength vinegar. If I thought the humidifier was effective at adding moisture to a room, I could live with the fact that it's high-maintenance. But we did not find that it added much moisture to the air. It also has a cheap build; not very durable. I am returning it and will trying something different.
Different humidifier I previously had was too loud and the cool mist didn't prevent my morning headache & plugged up nose/sinuses. This one does. It's fairly quiet. It usually prevents my morning headache & plugged up nose/sinuses. I turn it on at bedtime and off in the morning. I refill it every 2-3 days. I'm happy with this product. I'd buy it again.
