I've had radar detectors for over 30 years and this one is #1 in my book. I love the fact it updates automatically by connecting to my internet. I use this as a backup to keep me aware of my surroundings and to let me know I'm driving too fast. The phone app is an added bonus and customer service second to none.
I had the Escort IX and I was looking for an upgrade. I have wifi in my car so I was debating on getting the Max360 or the Max360c. The Max360c seemed to have some very cool features that the Max 360 didn't have. The performance is very good. On Ka it can pick up their radar gun from atleast two miles away which is very impressive. Its IVT Filter recognizes false K band alerts very well when I am driving down the road. I would highly recommend this detector if you are looking for one or an upgrade!
Love it! I had an older escort that lasted about six years and then the screen went out. I wanted to get another Escort because I love the app that lets the community share alerts before your detector can pick them up! The directional arrows that light up blue when the radar goes off are great because you know the direction from which the signal is coming! Definitely well worth the money spent!
There are not that many independent companies out there selling radar detecters. i have been loyal to Escort in the past and i do pay a premium for that brand so this time i did a lot of research before i made a purchase. i sorted out lots of criteria however it all boiled down to a few main concepts, which are: Range, Ease of use, dependability and false alarms. I chose the Escort 360C, i have had it for a little more than a week now and so far i have not been disappointed.
Would love one.... just way too expensive!!
Unit is very Bucky and the volume is bad you can’t even here when warning are coming up. And let me tell tell you I have it to the max. Speaker sounds like it’s cracked and distorted.
The product is great even this unit (that i literally just bought for TOP DOLLAR) is from 2017… yeah for real 6 years old. Only seems to be working with local radar. It won’t catch highway patrol. I bought through their Amazon store and they won’t back their product. Buy a cheaper unit and you’ll get the same product. Disappointed in their customer service and their product.
I'm a long-time Escort owner/user... nearly 30 years. Original Escort, Passport, Solo, Passport 4500. The mount is worthless, especially when used with the M1 camera. Too much weight on too small a suction cup. Ten minutes into use, the combination goes flying. Yes, everything is clean... the mount just plain doesn't work. Needs a visor clip mount and a hard-wired power connection. Can't use Velcro on the dashboard since the alert speaker is on the bottom, rather than aiming at the driver. The receiver itself is great - very sensitive, even though it runs ridiculously hot. Problem is that you had best get used to holding it up with your right hand while you drive. I didn't bother activating my subscription, and after a year of trying to make this mess work... I stopped using it. Expensive lesson I will never forget.
I spent alot on a radar detector because I wanted a good quality one but this one has some kind of glitch it goes off when nothing is around! I drive the same exact route everyday and it goes off in some areas constantly every 1 second With nobody around me and then the next day it won't go off at all. I know it is not right just by using common sense I would not recommend this radar detector specter at all it is very annoying.. Although when there is a cop there is a cop it does pick them up pretty good. If it wasn't for the glitchiness I would love it.
