Wow fast delivery and I ordered this DVD player and I got it the next day. It was easy to set up and it plays very well. If you need a DVD player that is easy to use and set up then this is the DVD player for you.
It comes with audio-visual cables, plus we found an HDMI cable at WalMart for a good price that enables use of both remotes, although it isn't necessary. Very nice machine!
this thing is nice. super easy set up. just an HDMI cord to the tv. and plug into the wall. hdmi port in back of dvd player.(hdmi cord was not included, we had one, colored cables included tho) i like how when its off theres no lights on. where most have a red light when off and a different color when on. not this. when it comes on the light blinks red until it loads the dvd. then its a solid red light until you turn it off. the remote has volume buttons for the tv and has 2 power buttons. one for the tv. and one for the dvd player. so all you need is the dvd remote to control the tv and dvd player. which is so cool!! and its so sleak and light weight. its very modern. very much like this dvd player.
I was looking for a simple dvd player cause the one i had broke so i came across this one and thought i would get it and glad i did because it is so simple to use just take it out the box,plug it in,put batteries in remote control open the tray insert dvd close and the movie starts right away it has a red light that stays on from start of movie til the end and i like that this dvd player is small and does not take up much space,only had it for about a week now but so far no problems working great might buy another one for my friend when her birthday comes up but i would that if your looking for something simple to use and does not take up a lot of space this would be the one to get
I've always bought Sony. After the last one, I'll never buy Sony again, so I decided to try this brand. What I'm happy about the most with this one is that it's super quiet, and It seems to be running okay except for one thing. Every time you press the play button the picture glitches a tad before it starts to play. I've had about 2 months now. We'll see how long it lasts going 24/7 :)
The box is all dented in on one side. Questioning whether its a return item "regifted". Hopefully nothing is wrong with it.
this was hand delivered from the store there's no reason for them to sell damaged used merchandise and have it listed as new!
I was able to watch one movie on this and then kept getting the message that the disc was unreadable. Unfortunately, since it was more than 30 days after my purchase, Walmart wouldn't allow me to return it.
This DVD is NOT region free. It clearly has the region 1 symbol on the back of the player, and will not play other regions. My kids are very disappointed as we have a region 2 dvd set of the Hobbit that they can not watch. We bought this specifically because it said it would play all regions. I've spent the morning researching how to unlock it, and nothing works. Do not recommend.
LG either deliberately or ignorantly failed to secure the HDMI receiver to the housing, causing an engineered fail point where eventually the HDMI receiver will break off from the computer board. LG gave me the run around for over half an hour, arguing my use with a projector instead of a TV nullified the intended use of the DVD players. port was used 10-20 times before receiver failure. DO NOT BUY
