The best feature of this chili powder is the lack of added salt found in many brands making it a great low sodium option most Americans should be using. I also like the price and the fact that it's organic.
I like this brand, because of the freshness. It taste and smells like it was just made. That is what I like about using glass jars it keeps the freshness in and doesn't seep out.
Aside from the great value for organic, the flavor is really good. Unlike so many other Chili Powders, this one is all organic ingredients without any salt!
This is what I know as chili powder. If I was looking for a total chili mix, I would look in the gravy packet area for a chili mix (which I believe has a thickening agent in it like corn flour) one reviewer and I have opposite idea of what this chili powder is or is not. To be clear, these are the ingredients, organic cumin, paprika, ancho chili powder, oregano, coriander, allspice, clove, and garlic. I like this type of mixture because I don't need some of the other spices that I may use only occasionally. I have also been collecting and purchasing the great value organic spices to update my spice jars with a two-for-one approach. The jars are a nice rectangle glass jar. lastly, this is a nice blend and I use it in other than chili like when I am making taco meat or enchiladas.

Not Chili powder. Believe the other reviews that warn you. Wish I had. First ingredient listed is cumin, and that is what this tastes like. Stale cumin. Chili as an ingredient is way down the list. This is a stale, cumin powder mix, not what I wanted. Good reviewers must not know what real chili powder tastes like. Two stars only because it is organic.
The stuff is tarable. You can't get the test out of your mouth for three days.
This is NOT chili powder. the label is misleading because it says "chili powder". what that means, is that it is a seasoning mix for making chili. i just noticed today. i smelled cumin distinctly, looked at the ingredients, and there is was. No wonder my stuff wasnt turning out :( Cmon walmart!!!! cant you sell pure chili powder? could you relabel this product to read "chili seasoning"?
I would give it zero stars if I could. I didn't just get one of these that wasn't hot at all, but two of them. In the past when I ordered these they were CHILI powder, now the last two were just cumin and paprika and absolutely NO chili pepper at all.
