I just want to be clear the Simple Solution Training pads I received are the 23x24" inch size. I have a six year old, 7 pound, Maltese. Bo has never done his bathroom business outside. He uses training pads. I do generally utilize the approximate same size as these 23x24 inch. Since I am retired and home most the time with my dog, that size works well. However, this brand 'Simple Solution' are thicker and will in fact hold more fluid. Therefore, if you are someone that is looking for a good training pad that will not break the budget but hold your dog's fluid, this is probably a good choice for you. If you have a large dog, I would not recommend the 23x24 inch size and instead choose the larger size. I do want to be clear that these are not super thick but they work well for the small dogs. They are quilted and come contained in clear plastic within the manufacturers box as the image displays in the description. My little dog takes right to them, no problem. They do seem to block odor better than what I have been using but here again, I don't leave them down long once I see it has been used. I would suggest trying them in the size you wish and see if these work well for your pet too.
This is a box of Simple Solutions training pads. The box contains 100 pads each measuring 23"x 24" inches. They also have a wetness indicator, odor neutralizer, 6 layers of absorbency and leak prof quilting. I tried these out with my older dog that usually uses a potty patch and tray. I really love these pads because I didn't have any trouble getting him to use them. When I picked it up to remove it, it didn't leak or drip. Also I didn't smell any odor at all. I would recommend these to anyone to train puppies or just to help an older dog out.
The Simple Solution Training Pads are just what I needed to help with training my pet. The pads were used (and are still being used) to train my 19 (yes, 19, wow!) year old cat. She started urinating on the floor and ruined it. I was using pads I bought elsewhere and her urine soaked right through and many times she'd pee next to the pad, not on it. I was really curious to see if she'd be attracted to these pads (as advertised) because she's a cat rather than a puppy. Sure enough, she is encouraged to use these pads. Not one incident of urinating on the floor. I put a pad in a litter box now and she's been going in the pad-lined litter box. I'm amazed that she hasn't peed one time on the floor since. The Simple Solution Puppy Pads also have remarkable absorbency. I've used them for 2 1/2 weeks and haven't had any leaking through the pad. When it's time to buy more pads, these are the ones I'll buy. An extra perk is the turquoise blue color. Why not have a fun pop of color on a pee pad?
I have used many brands and varieties of puppy pads and these have surpassed them all. They are highly absorbent which is the biggest perk of them. They are thick and have a waterproof back that nothing has seeped through. So when you see super absorbent it is rue. They also contain an odor neutralizer so that you never smell urine. There are 100 in the bag and it says they absorb 6 cups of liquid which is quite a lot. Their size is 22x23 which is just the right size for a puppy or med/small dog to use. The bag does state that they are made in the U.S.A. with U.S.A. materials for those of you who prefer products made here. There is an attractant in them that attracts dogs to them. They are also quick drying. I am so glad I tried them because these will be what I purchase from now on. So if you are looking for an ideal puppy pad give these a try, you won't be disappointed.
This puppy pad works as it should and easily holds the urine of my small 12-pound dog. She mainly uses this at night when she needs to. She was immediately attracted to use it. I never had to do anything for her to "know" this was where she was supposed to go if she couldn't go outside. Easy to use, easy clean up. These pads are pretty large and are a great size for my little mixed-breed. There has never been any leakage. The cost is good, too. I checked around and they are more expensive on Amazon. So Wal-Mart has the best price for this brand of puppy pads. I can highly recommend these puppy pads.
I use a lot of Puppy Pads especially in the winter as one of my dogs is pad trained. I have tried many different brands and I have to say that this is a very good pad. The plastic on the bottom is heavy and not easily torn. The pad on the top of it is a heavier type of absorbent material. When my fur baby uses it, the wetness stays in the spot that she goes. It does not run off of the pad. It also does not go thru the plastic so the floor does not get wet. When the pad is wet with urine you can not smell anything. The pad absorb sthe smell very well. Size wise, I prefer a larger pad for my dog as that is what I trained her on but the 28 x 30 inch is a good size for a small dog. I would recommend this pad as it is one of the better ones that I have seen or used in the past year and a half.
When my dog used the Simple Solution Training Puppy Pads I knew I had a winner. We had been using another brand of pad, but she always seeped through them. When using these, there was no seepage whatsoever. You can tell these are made thicker with 6 layers. I'm glad my dog likes them too. You will definitely see a difference. I highly recommend these.
My dog is an inside dog and uses a pad with artificial grass on top as her potty. These pads say they absorb 6 cups of liquid. Not so sure about that. These are thin and the baking does not feel thick enough. The pads are very thin. They are supposed to be 28 by 30 but they are 22 by 24. That's not the ideal size for me. I need a pad large enough to go under the grass pad. I have decided to use 2 pads and overlap them. This does work for me. As for one pad I did not try it. These are probably good for small dogs.
After trying these out I will say they do seem to be more absorbent than your standard economy pads. I love the fact that this is a 100 pack, gives you plenty to last a while especially if you go through 2 or 3 a day. The size of these pads are perfect for puppies and small dogs, but also great for older dogs who are starting to loose control in the house. The wetness indicator is helpful, even though you can usually tell when it's wet the teal color is a good reminder to replace it. Although these are meant for pets they have so many other uses, last year I used them for my kids to do their Easter egg coloring on and they worked great to absorb any spills, also we used them during Halloween to carve our pumpkins on, loved being able to contain the mess and clean up was a breeze. I definitely recommend these, I think the quality is good and the price is fair for the amount you are getting.
I have a brand new puppy and in the middle of trying to potty train. These pads are absorbent but tear with little effort. Their size is perfect for a puppy. You have be very careful that your puppy does not eat the torn pieces. For me I will wait until she is a bit older as she shreads them in seconds. I would suggest you not use these pads at an early age.
