I'm going to start off by saying, some people expected this book to follow the movie but the thing is the book came out in 1985...FAR before the movie. SO my expectations of how the book would look is pretty spot on. The card board ornament was just that, no qualms there. I love that the book was a hardcover book, the art was beautiful and the fact that it came with a cd of the book narrated by Liam Neeson!!! I'm in heaven. I named my son after Liam Neeson so this was a PERFECT gift for my son :D
The product description was not accurate, but I consider the product to be much better than what was described. I'd describe the product as an illustrated BOOK containing a DVD. I wish I had known in time and I would have bought more like it. I had a problem the first time I used your website to order this. Somehow, the application concluded that I wanted the shipment delivered to the Wal-Mart store in area code 77406, while what I wanted was my normal Wal-Mart store in 77469. I never could find a way to change the delivery location so I gave up, cancelled the order, and left the site. When I came back in, I found the right store, and from then on, all worked well. I suggest that you create an EASY way for an infrequent visitor to change the store where the shipment needs to go. All things considered, a great experience. This survey is becoming annoying. I don't really care to have a nickname, and if it asks me one more time to change that entry, I'll enter a string of random characters. Jim
Book is the 25th anniversary edition, includes a cd reading of the story and a keepsake ornament. I bought 2 for my grandsons. I am thrilled with them!!!
My son's love this book and read everynight and watch the movie too...They want to become Engineers and Tom Hanks is fav...they love watching him..GREAT GREAT VALUE!!!
WE bought this book for our kids as we have the movie and do the polar express train trip every year in flasgstaff az and the book is a great thing to have to follow along with the book. my kids love the book rea to them.
I got this for my 9 yr. old granddaughter who is an avid reader. The illustrations are beautifully done and the story is classic. Also very affordable from walmart.com. I am extremely satisfied.
WE TOOK OUR GRANDCHILDREN TO THE POLAR EXPRESS TRAIN RIDE AND WANTED THEM TO HAVE THEIR OWN KEEPSAKE BOOK TO WRITE IN AND REMIND THEM OF OUR SPECIAL EVENING TOGETHER. THEY ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND WE WERE ABLE TO GIVE THEM IN TIME FOR THEM TO READ THE STORY BEFORE THE TRIP. THANK YOU FOR CARRYING THIS PRODUCT.
My 2 year old son loves it when I read this sweet story to him before bed. He loves Thomas the Train and the Polar Express as well.
