I bought this for my nephew's 10th birthday. After reading through all the descriptions of the many kits available, this was the one perfect for him. As soon as it was delivered (they live out of state), he called me to say "Thank you," and that he was so excited to do all the experiments. I wish I'd known about these kits years ago. There are so many different collections, and I know my son would love them all!
My granddaughter loves it. She has always been a girly girl but she likes pretty rocks. This gives her a chance to do more than just save them. She had fun testing her rocks. Also she is excited to be making crystals. We haven't done all those experiments yet.
