I bought this to take my grandson to swim class each week and I feel like he is very safe and secure, especially with the added tightening mechanism. He is too young to let me know if he is not comfortable, but he is always smiling with Granny, so we are good to go.
Ok so I needed another harnessed car seat so I just decided to go with this booster. At first I thought the price (I got it for less than what it is listed at now) was too good to be true since this seat on other websites/stores costs more. So I figured it must expire pretty soon but I ordered it anyway and this seat doesn't expire till 2017 and it was made in 2011! Overall I'm extremely happy with it. Its very soft and my daughter seems very comfortable in it and its easy to get her in and out and very easy to install. It's not huge at all; I drive a compact car and have my son in the middle rear facing and both seats fit perfect with plenty of room for another person to sit. Would definitely buy another one when my son is 2 and can face foward.
My 2 year old daughter is very tall for her age, and no longer fits in her convertible car seat. Everyone told me she was ready for a booster seat, but I really wanted her to stay in the harness much longer. After weeks of looking for a harnessed car seat for tall toddlers, I came across this car seat. I couldn't afford the $275 + that most of the car seats cost that are meant to harness bigger kids. I didn't think this inexpensive seat would work when I ordered it, but boy am I happy with it! Not only does the harness fit, but there is a ton of room for her to grow in it. I'm very pleased with this product, and so is my daughter. I highly recommend.
Came fully assembled. easy to get buckled in correctly the first time. very parent friendly with the folding arm rests, wish i had it long ago!!!
This was a replacement the original was in an accident. Good value, easy to install, and adjust straps. I originally bought it for the high weight with the harness. My son is 4 1/2 and still has plenty of room to grow. The straps do twist sometimes.
I've purchased 2 of these seats within the last year since we have multiple cars. My son just turned 4, he's 42 inches and 42 lbs. Although he can technically use a booster and lap belt, I felt extremely uneasy doing that. I wanted the maximum protection in case of an accident. I scoured the internet for 65+lb harness car seats. I found this one and the Graco nautilus to be be my best options. (i also have a graco nautilus for his nana's car, it's awesome but a bit more pricey) I think it's a great seat for the price. The arm rest fold up or down which makes it easy for the little ones to get in and out. It's also alot wider than other car seats. My only recomendation to make it better is that it has one of the clip on cup holders. It does the job but it's a bit flimsy and gets in the way if someone is sitting directly next to the car seat. This isnt a big deal but it seems like my son always has a drink with him in the car. Overall, I am pleased and would buy this product again and again.
Very user friendly. When we first moved my son into it, the pillow pushed his head forward, but it didn't take long for him to grow into it!
Set-Up directions could be easier to understand.
