Easy awesome works great. And I'm hard to please.
I set this up to keep an eye on my dogs while at work. Mainly the young one that decided to start nibbling on things. I can talk to her through the camera and distract her from something. This is great and a lot of fun.
Looking for something for inside our home to watch the dogs and all around security. Very easy to start up, and the remote view is good. The cord is nice and long so we place it on our mantle and can see in 2 rooms and the front door. The pan and tilt isn't real responsive at times, but I have a camera at our business and it has that problem occasionally too. More internet than camera problem. I would buy it again. The playback is nice and easy as well. I would definitely buy it again.
I bought a couple of these cameras to monitor my house while I was away on a trip. Gave me peace of mind to be able to see what was going on at home. Really easy to set up and video quality is great even the night vision is good. The ability to pan back-and-forth, talk live through its speaker,auto tracking,and set up different alerts is great too. I got them on sale for around $50 each but they are worth regular price any day of the week; and they even come with an 8 gig memory card! Very happy!
Meets and beats our expectations. The phone app has alot of easy to use features we did not expect. These cameras pack a big punch for a little price. We bought two and plan to buy more. Highly recommended if you need something smaller then 6 - 12 camera package.
Bought 3 of these cameras. Easy to install and very good quality images. Some nice features with the Android and PC Apps. App is fairly new and still being worked on so the expectation is that it will continue to improve. Night Vision could be a little brighter.
Took a little time to set up. Had to go to the last chance before returning it. I had to go to alternate setup to get it to work but after I went thru the steps it worked and seems to be working fine.
Picture is fantastic. Very bright, even at night. I was amazed. Setup was terrible. I tried using the app...no success. Called tech support and they gave the "alternate setup" were I was supposed to program my phone and then hold it in front of the camera to teach it the wifi connect info. Still no success. Lucky I am IT guy since I needed to access the help files, remove the SD card, create a text file with the wifi connection information, and then re-insert into the camera so it could gain access to my network. NOT smooth setup. Now that it is up and running, works fine though. Hardware...5 stars, setup...2 stars is generous. If the picture wasn't so good and the price reasonable, I would never consider getting another Ezviz product. As it is, I would consider buying again since I know how to manually setup. How about a software update so this thing works right?!?
While the smartphone software is easily found for download/installation, the desktop software is not mentioned at all and can only be found deep in the sub-pages of their website if you look hard for it. Sadly, however, both the app & desktop software that supports the camera are poorly designed. Most glaringly, there is no supporting manual or forum, and there is no feature that allows you to download a video clip to your desktop for processing. The feature to download a video from your app to Facebook or YouTube did not work (Errors are given and the process is stopped).
Was never able to get this product working. It always said that my internet was unstable. I have xfinity internet with speed of 75 megs. The internet was not the issue.....its this cheap product.
