Got monitor to replace simpler one that I had for many years. This one had "bells and whistles" I did not want or need. (I could not find a simpler one.) I do not need a memory or date/time function, and it would seem that these will drain battery life more quickly. I have been recording date, time, BP and pulse on paper for years, so I already have a record. However, if someone is not as compulsive as I am, these "bells and whistles" would be very desirable. With very short usage, I cannot tell how durable it is.
This monitor has a bit more on it than I was looking for. I wanted a montior that took my blood pressure and pluse. I don't need the memory function. There are two of us using the monitor and we keep a record of the readings.
