The Atrix Lil Red Canister Vacuum AHSC-1 is an excellent Hepa vacuum option for your house, office, or vehicle. This easy carry Hepa vacuum has three levels of filtration, variable speed motor, and 16. 5'retractable power cord. The three levels of filtration consist of a two quart Hepa bag, exhaust filter, and foam premotor filter. The Hepa bag helps capture particles such as pollen, pet dander, and dust mites. The variable speed motor allows you to go from cleaning your floor to cleaning your drapes with an easy change in suction. This has a lot of suction. Not really workable for carpet, but great for hard wood floors or a small apartment. Customer service was great when I called them about a clog in the hose.
This vacuum will suck up the furniture if your not careful! Just kidding but it's very powerful. The hepa filters are high quality and if you have allergies I think they filter out any dust coming in to the vacuum. Maybe too well. It seems like the motor is so loud trying to get air to pass through the filtration system. It also has a nice quality dusting attachment, and a separate soft, hard floor attachment along with the one in the picture. It's very compact and light despite having the feel of a quality vacuum.
I really like my little red vacuum. I don't have any carpet and it is perfect for my hardwood floors. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The bags are a little pricey from the manufacturer so I am looking for a cheaper alternative but I really like the vacuum.
This is one powerful little vacuum. I wanted a light weight vacuum to zip around with. It comes with a variety of attachments which is a plus. It has features that are usually in more expensive vacuums like retractable cord and also you can adjust the suction. It has a convenient handle to hold it while vacuuming stairs , molding etc. Although I would have preferred a shoulder strap .I'm sure I'll be able to make one. The cord could be longer and sometimes because of the light weight the vacuum will flip but this doesn't deter me for recommending it highly. For the price you can't beat it !
I had to return it,the cord would not stay out,so I returned it got another one. Its not too bad, small but works good so far.
This vacuum is much smaller than I realized. Extra parts do not fit into vacuum; they must be kept separately. Bag is pretty small so will need to be replaced more often. I would buy a larger vacuum.
Lightweight unit with OK suction, but I cannot find replacement bags.
While the operation itself and the many options are terrific, the canister itself is too small and/or lightweight for the size of the hose and attachments. The canister rolls over easily, especially when trying to pull out the cord. It's frustrating. It should have an option to carry it on ones shoulder by way of a strap.
I have had this little vaccum for 5 months. It was perfect in size for my apartment but after 5 months the suction isn't all that good. It is good for just a quick pickup everyday but not good cleaning.
I bought it 2 months and half ago. For the last days the suction was very poor and then it stopped working. Fortunately it was before the 90 days expire. I returned it today and bought instead the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe (NV360) recommended by a friend who has been using it for years. The Matrix cord is also too short. I don't recommend it at all! Spend more money for a higher quality vacuum that would last for years.
