I love this vacuum so much the Canister holds a lot of dirt easy to clean. Also like the self cleaning it helps a lot less cleaning the heads of the vacuum. The power fins on this vacuum picks up everything I love it so much. Great vacuum for anyone you won't go wrong buying this vacuum.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is the best I've ever owned. Like all Shark products, this vacuum has innovative features that you won't find in other brands. The wand has a multi flex feature that bends like an arm, allowing you to easily get under furniture if you need to. This has a couple attachments that are helpful for upholstery, or hard to reach cracks and crevices. The PowerFin roller is unmatched in performance for picking up hair. I have long dark hair and 3 dogs, and I have yet to find hair tangled in the roller. The power cord is a little shorter than I would like, but it's not a deal-breaker. The bagless tank holds plenty and is very easy to empty. My very favorite part of this vacuum is the electronic controller at the handle. You can turn the vacuum on and off, toggle between low and high pile carpets, and there's even three suction levels you can adjust! As an added bonus, this is lightweight, maneuvers like warm butter, and is pretty to look at.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge shark vacuum fan, but I have only ever owned upright canister vacuums. My last vacuum finally pooped out so I decided to try this corded canister vacuum. I have pets and children and furniture and I thought this vacuum might be easier for me to use to vacuum off furniture then my previous vacuum. I'm happy to report that not only was my assumption correct, but this vacuum far exceeded my expectations. First of all, have I mentioned I have pets? I have three cats (two of which have long hair) and in addition to the pets, apparently my children and I shed a lot of hair. I am well acquainted with trying to cut hair from the vacuum brush. There's no need to do that with this vacuum. The brushes are self-cleaning and it is freaking amazing. In addition to the self-cleaning brushes, there is a very bright LED light on the vacuum head. If you are someone who is familiar with vacuums, you know that traditionally they do not have effective lights on the head so if you are trying to vacuum a poorly lit area (such as under a couch) you run the risk of sucking up stuff that you do not intend to vacuum up. This vacuum is also extremely quiet and the suction, which you can control from a button on the handle, is extremely strong. You can use this on a variety of carpet depths or on hardwood and the vacuum handle bends at the midway point so you can easily vacuum under couches. I don't know what else to say beyond if you are looking at this review because you are considering this vacuum. You should definitely follow your instinct and purchase it. You will not be sorry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum. The vacuum does a great job, I'm very happy with the results I'm seeing. I had a canister years ago and was pleased to see them again. This vacuum looks very chic. The vacuum was easy for me to put together and in minutes. The vacuum is easy to maneuver with the four wheels independent it just follows me around. The suction is very good and has three different setting, along with hard floor and carpet. I love that the handle is flexible to get under furniture etc. and the on board tools is good for upholstery and drapery. I've also noticed that the vacuum is quieter than my old one and the 25' cord gives a long reach. With the cord being retractable, which I love, I don't have to wind it around some hooks, just press the button done. The handle controls is lighted and a breeze to switch between actions and the head is lighted too. We have a long haired dog and the vacuum does a wonderful job without any problems. The three filters are washable and the bins has a button for easily emptying. I've learned over the years that canister vacuums do a better job at cleaning and I find with the options on this canister I can clean the house with ease. The filters I would absolutely recommend this vacuum to anyone who is looking to upgrade to a new vacuum. This Shark will not let you down. Very Happy.

I am so impressed with the ease of changing the floor type and suction. Press of a button is all it takes. Using the tools are easy with a button press and attach the tool needed for the job. When you're finished tap the cord button and it reminds easily no winding needed. Emptying the canister is fast as well as cleaning the filters. I have had this vacuum about a month - I am getting used to the features. It has powerful suction and my carpets seem very clean. My hardwood floors are clean as well. The canister is easy to empty. I am not as happy with the canister as I thought as it can be clumsy following you around. It is also heavier than expected.
I bought this about a month ago. Its a great vacuum although it does have a few design flaws. the hose is a bit to long when you use attachments if you are not careful the hose tends to crimp if you don't watch which way you turn .Also it rolls really well until it rolls on the cord then it stops and you have to pick it up over the cord. I do like the fact that my attachments from my previous Shark fit the new one. My old one had a light on the handle this one does not so you can't see under dressers or other furniture the powerhead does not fit under.
Great suction. Unit has trouble rolling even on bare wood floor - it does not want to roll in direction of your pull. This causes it to hit the walls. And the plastic hitting the wall is hard and not cushioned. If you change direction while pulling, it is top heavy and turns over.
Doesn't pick up dirt and hair as well as the upright versions so I returned it. I believe it has to do with how light weight the head is compared to the weight of the head on the upright which is due to the design.
