I got this for my daughter who just turned 3 in November 2013. I finally got to see her fall asleep in the seat this past weekend. I must say that I prefer the way that the seat is built. She looked very comfortable while sleeping. The seat is VERY light but made with great care. I'd recommend this to everyone that needs a car seat for toddlers.
My son always falls asleep in the car. His last booster seat left his head rolling around as he slept! This seat works great! I feel like he is safer and more comfortable!! The one downside: the cupholders do not hold standard soda bottles! I don't know if they were designed for sippy cups or cans, but that's kindof a pain.
I bought these for grandchildren and haven't used them yet, but I can say that this model seemed to have very wide (and safer, to me) side wings, which the others didn't have. I like that the cover is washable. It also has an extendable top to accommodate taller children. The construction looks sturdy, and there is only one way to put it together correctly, a good safety point. The bonus was the price, very reasonable. All in all, looks like a very good product.
I like the design and fits easily into small car. Also the headrest is better designed than others to accommodate a sleepy child :-) also the safety awards are impressive.
I bought this car seat for my 2 year old grandson who is a solid weight. I love this seat because of the width (he has room to grow) and because of the width of the head guards. He sleeps and we dont have to worry about his head bobbing or leaning over. He loves it and so do mom. I have to purchase another for my 5 year old granson.
Seat is comfortable and easy for a child to buckle themselves in. This seat is not for a small child. Child enjoys it because it is hi enough for them to see out well.
This seat was easy to put together and is extremely light compared to our britax. It has two hidden cup holders which are hard to see in the pictures. It is a bit more narrow than most high back booster seats which was fine for us.
My kids love their new seats. I bought one with gray trim for my son and one with pink trim for my daughter. What I like is that the seat has a recline setting which will be great on long trips when they fall asleep. And with the large padded head rests will allow them to sleep comfortably and keep me from having to keep adjust their head and neck.
I had been researching a number of booster seats for my 4 year old who has been in a booster seat for about a year now. The one I was using was by Evenflo... great seat but on long car rides he had no support when he would go to sleep. When I first saw this seat I immediately loved how the head rest seemed to be contoured and the wings on the side below the shoulders seemed like they would meet my needs and concerns so that he would not slump to the side out of the seat. He has fallen asleep in it one time since I got it while out running errands and I must say that it went well above my expectations. His head and body were supported the whole time! The seat itself is light and durable. I am giving it 4 stars because the hand rests are stationary and is a minor inconvenience when trying to unlock the seat belt as well as buckle my son in. You get used to it eventually though. Baby #2 is on the way and hopefully they will still have this seat when he is ready to transition to that stage! I would recommend this seat to anyone who is looking for a great seat at a great low price and for those who want to keep their little ones safe and supported while they nap on the go! I couldn't have made a better decision!
I would recommend this car seat to anyone because it grows with your child. It is also comfortable and gives them ample space to not feel confined into the chair. It also have two cup holders which comes in handy for their juice and snack. The chair also turns into a booster seat as they get older which is helpful if they are not completely ready to seat on their own. One of the things I love the most about the chair is that the seat cover is washable which is important to parents. Love the car seat thank you Walmart for making it affordable.
