Very Durable used it for over three hours first time I’ve used this worked well. Had to tighten the chain a few times but other than that very good product
Very lite to use. Easy oil fill Does a get job cutting three inch branches. Just like butter. Love this product
I'm building a straw bale house and using chain saws to trim and notch straw bales. I have 2 chainsaws, a corded SunJoe, and a cordless Stihl. Thge SunJoe has been trouble free, and requires much less cleaning and adjustment than the Stihl. The whole crew has fallen in love with the SunJoe.
I purchased the Sun Joe Electric Chain saw to do bigger jobs than my pole saw or other electric smaller saws. I hate gas saws since they have always given me problems or have not worked at all after a short period. This saw, though a bit heavy, was not really uncomfortable nor difficult to handle. It went through 8 to 10 inch trees and limbs like a warm knife through butter. I have only used it a couple of times and hope that it lasts a long time. I can only say, at this point, I am very happy with it.
So far so good. I cut up a lot of storm damaged tree limbs yesterday. Looks like we will have another round of bad weather tonight. Easy to use and lightweight. Cuts quickly.
Great tools, great customer support. Own both the pole saw and this one. Only a small portion of what I've done and they cut this stuff like butter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just about the time my husband's old electric chain saw wore out we got a new SunJoe 16” Electric chain Saw. The new chainsaw really works nicely with two important improvements. First a low-kickback brake function was added for safety. The saw will not run until you release it when you are ready. This prohibits any accidental starts causing potential injury. Another great feature is the window which makes it super easy to view the oil level. The old saw's oil reservoir needed to be opened to see if it was running low. It was inconvenient to constantly stop the saw and open the oil screw cap to check the oil level. Overall the saw cuts nicely and is much safer to handle. I recommend this product!!
This is a good little saw for small jobs. It's light, and effective. The chain stops immediately when you release the trigger, and that's a good safety feature. The chain oil window is a bit hard to see, so you have to keep checking it, as it goes through oil quickly.
This electric chain saw is surprisingly more powerful than expected. It has no problem handling roots in the ground and is almost as strong as a gas unit. Very pleased,
As advertised. A very good option to the much higher priced Makita. I am using it for tree/log carving and if care and thought used it works just fine.
