A very nice looking and functional unit, It does a good job cooling my small three room apartment.
We bought this for our son's room. It has worked well. Even on 90+ degree days it kept his room a comfortable 72. I wish it had a little more cooling power and the exhaust tube does get warm but that didn't seem to hamper the performance too much. I would recommend it.
The unit was fairly easy to put together (you have to use common sense, the instruction manual is laughably poorly written, complete with sentences that end on one page and don't continue on the next). The air conditioner cools a large bedroom quickly and very well. It is very noisy when the a/c kicks on and off but the fan mode is sufficient for a less warm night.
The air conditioner worked fine until one day it started making a horrific rumbling and started shuddering. Apparently have of the tumbler fan in the back broke off. The product is only a month or so old so I'm not very impressed with the quality of make.
This portable A/C will cool down the room just little bit. The main problem is the exhaust. It's get hot and while the A/C is cooling the room, the exhaust is heating it up. The cooling is just a tad stronger than the heating so the product is not worth the price. It's better to go buy a 10$ fan.
The ac was first off delivered with the wheels broken, and a big crack across the back. When I turned it on (before I noticed the crack) it blew cool, but the exhaust was extremely hot. I don't know if that is normal or it was that hot because of the damage, however I boxed it up and returned it. I don't want to try again. Very dissapointing experience.
