I bought this from my local Walamrt to keep my two year old from leaving his room in the morning and falling down the stairs. For me, it was very strudy especially since my son kicks at it and climbs on it and it doesnt budge. Well worth the money!
Keeps Mama an pups completely separated and it can't hurt either.
This product is a little bit of a hassel to set up everytime you walk through it. The mechanism is very tight and first I thought is was defective. It's okay for the money, but if I had more to spend I definitely would not have bought this one.
Very simple gate, easy to use. Great for doorway use...would not recommend for older "climbing" children, but great for younger kids and pets.
Just pay the money for a better gate. I bought this for a 49" opening. When the gate is expanded this wide it become very unstable and wobbles back and forth when my child leans on it. My cats have been able to knock it over when they run at it.
