I had tried Almased a few years ago and didn't continue even though I lost a little weight. This time I'm trying to stick with it. Have lost according to my scale 8 pounds in a week and a half. So far doctors have approved. It's really high protein. I have found Walmart to be the best buy with 2-pack. Walgreen's is second.
I follow instructions, it helps me to eat less. I lost about 10lbs. Plan to keep them off those pounds. I always put them on thru the winter and work on losing them over and over again. This will help my effort. Plus there is a lot of vitamins that I buy, are already in it. So I save money that way. I like to add vanilla and cinnamon to enhance the taste.

Two caveats- I use it with whole milk and I eat unlimited fresh fruits and vegetables when I use this plan. I try not to eat too much, not even fruit, but it makes the plan as close to perfect as possible. For me, the first two days were easy, but by the third day, I was too hungry to not eat fruit. Rather than give up because I'm not perfect, I found a healthy compromise using some hints from past Weight Watchers meetings about unlimited fruits and vegetables. The weight loss is slower, but it's steady. Most important to me is that it is healthy. It takes away all of my carb cravings, except my sweet tooth, which is satisfied by the fresh fruit. I'm 52, and and say this, combined with Weght Watchers past or present, is as perfect as can be.

Not real thrilled with the taste and doesn't keep me full until lunch time and it is a little expensive so I won't buy it again. There are other products out there that claim to help keep you full. Haven't found one yet
When I realized what it was I didn't need it
It was just thrown into a box so when I received it one of the cartons had popped open and the powder was all over the box. There was no padding no wrapping and seal for almased was very weak. Other than that the product itself is a great shake and is helping me to lose weight! I highly recommend it takes the edge off hunger
