With an amazing look and rich sound, the Grand Auditorium Artist Elite features a solid spruce top braced with an FS6 forward shifted, scalloped bracing system. This provides the instrument with a dynamic projection and instant response. Built with a Macassar ebony body, binding and slim bevel armrest, this Alvarez acoustic-electric is equipped with an Alvarez SYS250 preamp with sidemount 3-band EQ, Presence control and a convenient chromatic tuner. A Bi-level bridge is designed to heighten string tension and improve sustain and response. The term “solid top” of course refers to the soundboard of an acoustic guitar being made of solid wood, rather than being laminated. However, just because the top is solid, it does not necessarily mean the sound automatically benefits from this feature.
