Each component is made of natural material, including real bone saddles and nuts, maple and rosewood bindings and purflings, ebony bridge pins and green abalone inlays. The MF75SC Folk/OM, like all Masterworks guitars, features a one-piece mahogany neck with a 50/50 finish, Grover tuners and 12th Fret abalone inlay. The Masterworks bracing system is forward shifted with scalloped, hand-finished X braces that allow these guitars to project incredibly well. Theres lots of sustain and response and no matter if strummed or picked, the separation and balance across the strings is easily audible. Masterworks is one of the most impressive and affordable all-solid guitar lines available, so now as many players as possible can enjoy the benefits of an all-solid wood construction. The MF75CE is a classic OM size guitar with a combination of solid cedar and rosewood. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone, lots of warmth and response and great for fingerpicking. This is a very natural looking piece and with an open pore finish to the back and sides. A beautiful, understated guitar with a really warm sound.
