This floodlight surveillance cam was easy to install and set-up. Now I have peace of mind knowing I can check on my lake property on my phone in a matter of seconds. I will also be notified if anyone arrives at my property. Very affordable also. Awesome unit!
I've had one of your older Eufy floodlight lighting up and watching the front door for unwanted visitors both human and large predators here on my house in the pine trees. The other day we had a lighting storm and bolts were so close and loud the flood light stopped working (no grounding wire). Replaced with your new 2K floodlight and WOW, the image and colors were 50% better that the older one which led me to send this review thanking you for the new updated product at pretty much the same price as the older one, Thank you.
I haven't had any issues with this item. The camera works great and the resolution is perfect for my backyard mounting position. At night, the floodlights illuminate everything in its range. It's a great product. I'm just waiting for the update so that I can use it with the HomeBase 3. In addition, it would also be nice if all of the cameras would have a longer view time on the web portal without have to get the code and sign in. Seven days would be perfect.
Great 👍 product received in grade 1 new collection. Easy to setup and install. Like the safety hanging S tool provided. Ordering another said camera right away. ✅️ 2000 STARS.
This is my first experience with a home security camera. I’m very impressed with the ease of setup. I replaced an existing floodlight. The lights on this unit are exceptionally bright. I’m running them on the lowest setting. Being able to raise the intensity with the app is a big plus. The picture quality is great in both daylight and dark situations. I especially like being able to set a zone of sensitivity. My neighbor’s fence is fairly close and I am able to keep my floodlight and camera from bothering him when he is in his yard. I’d definitely recommend this camera floodlight to people looking for an affordable alternative for home security.
Love eufy peoducts and this was the cheapest price ive found on this product.
Very impressed with the unit, does what it is supposed to do. Only drawback is the app is a bit laggy and freezes at some point.
I like the video quality but I wish the unit had a smaller foot print, you had the option to choose and change the light temp like you can on other eufy spotlight cameras (cool white-warm white), the camera was more consistent with motion (headlights set off motion which shouldn’t effect infrared sensors). Other than that, it’s a great camera for the price. Best substitute to ring which are 2.5 times the price.
The floodlight camera works well enough but has some issues, mostly software-based. The Good: - Night vision works well - I like that it doesn't require a subscription - The light is bright (so bright I have it turned way down actually) - Gets the job done Needs improvement: - If I turn the sensitivity up, I get false triggers when the wind blows the branches of the trees and grass. If I turn it down then it sometimes doesn't trigger until way too late, as in I'll get a video of a person getting out of their car but the camera somehow missed the car pulling into the driveway. - I live in the mountains so I like getting the animals on camera, but I wish I could leave recording on but turn off notifications for non-human motion. - I wish there were more categories for motion triggers. Right now there's only human and other. I'd like it if there were also animal, vehicle, and wind. - The video management is terrible. You can only select multiple videos within a single day so if you want to remove a bunch, it's exceedingly laborious. It is possible to fully clear the memory but that's in a completely different place in the settings. - Related to video management, it'd be helpful if videos for the same person/activity were automatically clustered so if there are multiple videos for a delivery truck, I can view/delete them all in a single action. - I wish the memory were upgradeable with an SD card - When I click on a notification it opens a video without the controls so if I want to do anything I need to exit out and reopen it - I really wish I could tell it to identify and ignore me and my family so when I'm working in my driveway I don't get a million notifications. There is a snooze feature but I need to remember to actively do that. - I wish the notification triggered at the start of the recording rather than the end of it.
I purchased this flood light a year ago and it suddenly stopped working and the company will not do anything for me because it is a month past the year purchase date. I recommend finding a better camera and company if you want something to last more than a year
