It works exactly as expected. Only concern is possible damage to air vent if the mount is removed, reinstalled or bumped.
The clip works as good as can be expected considering the wide range of vent types that are found in all the different types of cars. It works fine in both of my vehicles. It holds the GPS unit securely so it doesn't end up on the floor, but there are limitations as to how you can orient it, etc. All in all, I am pleased with it and consider it a worthwhile investment.
Gets my gps out of my windshield and positions it in a very convient location and it supports the gps unit well.
Works fine for me but a woman would have great difficukty removing it from the vents.
It is simple and easy to install. Only issue is it is not able to hold GPS in upward position. As the car moves the rotatable ball faces down and GPS tend to face down a bit. It doesn't hold the GPS staraight.
